Does excessive masturbation retard a person's growth?

 |  Anonymous

I am a 30 years old male who started masturbating excessively when I was 18 years old (at least 2-3 times a day). My problem is that, although I am 30, I have not really grown to manhood and I still look like 20 or 21. Two years ago I noticed that I started losing my hair and having problems with my eye sight. So my question is, has masturbation retarded my growth? And is there anything I can do about this? If I stop masturbation will it make any difference? What food supplements do I need to take?

Generally speaking - yes. Over-masturbation will reduce or even stop the physical body growth because the whole process uses too much Homan Growth Hormone to support androgen hormones(in particular - DHEA, Testosterone) and sperm production.

In your case, since you started masturbating excessively after 18, it is unlikely to have retarded your growth - because at 18 one is almost fully grown.

If you feel that you are somehow underdeveloped you may try to emulate your teenage biochemistry for additional growth. At 30 to reach teen levels of various hormones and neurotransmitters may be hard (healthy levels yes, but not teen levels) - especially if one has symptoms of sexual exhaustion.

However, there is a high probability that your problems with the eyesight and falling hair are due to the excessive masturbation. I suggest you take a look at Vision Problems, Eye Floaters, and Sexual Activity. As for the hair loss - Excessive masturbation will convert too much testosterone into DHT (via 5-alpha-reductase), and that DHT will accumulate in the hair rooting cells, causing hair loss.

You don't seem to experience severe symptoms of sexual exhaustion, and you didn't mention having weak erections so I will suggest to:

1. Discontinue masturbation - this will help you greatly, you will avoid repeating the harmful processes shown Here

2.If you seriously suspect that there may be some kind of hormonal lack or any nutritional deficiency make use of AM-HGH, A-Amino, Multi-A, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil
