Exercise and Sexual Function

Sun, 01/10/2010 - 07:38 |  M.Richards

Exercise (light and moderate) can be very beneficial for your sexual function. It can boost the serotonin level (that is if you have enough 5-HTP), the melatonin level, your HGH and androgen hormone release. It will burn fat, stimulate insulin release that will burn blood sugar, increase the norepinephrine level without shouting much epinephrine (adrenalin) and cortisol. It will increase blood circulation, relax your physical stress and mind by sweating out your stress hormones, thus resulting in supercharge of your parasympathetic nerves that will promote your endocrine function and bring healing and erection power.

However, you must be cautious not to overdo it, since prolonged or acute exercise will produce lead to some highly negative effects, such as: neuro-endocrine fatigue (excessive glucagon, norepinephrine, epinephrine and cortisol) for many hours, this excessive dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine level in the brain and adrenal medulla will result to a functional disorders of the hypothalamus-pituitary-testicular axis.

It will overdischarge your bioelectric energy in the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, thus forcing the body to consume large amounts of hGH, testosterone and DHEA hormones in order to rebuild and restore your joints and muscles, leaving nothing for sex and libido.

Over-exercising will also lead to a chronic pains and spasms due to lack of prostaglandins E-1 (because of the increased E-2 production) in the fatigued tissues. Post-exercise stress and the inflammatory will most certainly prolong cortisol, endorphin and prolactin release, thus leading to shutting down the oxytocin, DHEA, DHT and testosterone production from the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal and testicular axis. Also over-stretching a tissue will spread collagen scar, leading to a blood congestion and poor circulation, which is associated with chronic muscular or joint pain and spasms. The pointed out bio-reactions that take place if one over-exercise will shrink the penis. Don't mix acute or prolonged exercise with excessive sex, since such a combination can produce excessive cortisol, epinephrine and prolactin in the blood, lasting for many hours or days.

n other words, don't mix acute or prolonged exercises with sex since a combination of sex and exercises can produce excessive cortisol, epinephrine and prolactin into your bloodstream for many hours or days.

If severely overdone, exercise can bring death by a complete depletion of electrolytes in cerebrospinal fluid. Some athletes and body builders will end up impotent, dead or with muscle and joint pain and cramp, that is if their hGH, testosterone and DHEA in the bloodstream runs low. That is why athletes and body builders are likely to take different dietary supplements. Moreover big muscles contain many hormonal receptors that compete with these in the prostate and the penis. If this is the case, you need more hormones (Human Growth Hormone, testosterone, estrogen and DHEA) feed up your system.
