Negative Effects of Ejaculation

Ejaculation won't affect your bloodstream's androgen hormone levels immediately, not until the existent ones are used to support your brain and nervous functions(few hours later). If prior to ejaculation high stress and inflammatory hormonal levels were observed, along with partially or fully locked hipothalamic-pituitary-testicular function the levels of androgen hormones may prove to be insufficient to effectively support the endocrine and nervous functioning. During sexual arousal the cortisol will slightly drop, but will sharply rise in a response to the orgasm induced inflammation. When the modulation on inflammatory and stress hormonal releases fail, the cortisol will become high enough to suppress adrenal DHEA and androstenedione production, and will lead to even additional prolactin release days after orgasm to delay the orgasmic recovery time significantly(days or even weeks).

Frequent ejaculation will also deplete DHEA, oxytocin, androstenedione, phosphorylcholine, α-melanocyte, ß-endorphin levels, which won't be able to support testosterone production after ejaculation.

Androgen hormones, neurotransmitters, oxytocin, free amino acids, and minerals in the semen held by the seminal vesicles are supposed to aid the organism for the post-orgasm recovery by exciting and supporting the parasympathetic and sympathetic vagal and spinal nerves, and hipothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis. That is why it is so harmful to go through multiple ejaculation sessions for a short amount of time. The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis will then become too exhausted to produce sufficient androstenedione, DHEA, oxytocin, α-melanocyte, and ß-endorphin to help your body restore proper bodily functioning and modulate additional inflammatory responses.

If you have your hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis exhausted or locked, your body will mainly rely on the low efficient Cutaneous-Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal function to provide your body with the needed hormones and neurotransmitters for a restoration. Due to the low efficiency of the process it will take about 7 to 10 days for a sexually exhausted person to slightly recover and observe some improvement.
