Dr. Richards,

I am 28 years old and have had trouble with PE for a few years now…I mentioned it to my doctor and he told me to drink more alcohol before having sex. I have been treated for depression and am taking 20mg of Cipralex and was prescribed 100mg of Seroquel to deal with anxiety — been taking these for 4 weeks. I smoke cigarettes regularly (half a pack a day for about 15 years) and recently stopped smoking marijuana (4 weeks ago). I do not drink alcohol since taking the prescribed medication. I have started to exercise again (2-3 times/week) and eat a well balanced diet. I am not overweight and have been in good physical shape especially considering the harm I’ve done to my body. I am working on quitting smoking as well. I would like to deal with the PE problem effectively and I’m open to your recommendations. I can provide more info if needed…

Thanks

ANSWER
Hello,
You shouldn’t get used to the antidepressants and the antipsychotics you are taking. They will eventually kill your proper sexual functioning. The SSRIs may prove to be temporary beneficial for your PE, since it will increase the level of serotonin available to bind to the postsynaptic receptor by inhibiting it’s reuptake in the presynaptic cell. This comes with great deal of ill side effects and addiction, though.

Based on your description I would say that your premature ejaculation is most probably caused by poor blood circulation the the pc and prostate muscles for excessive locally present DHT, norepinephrine, epinephrine, glutamate, and histamine. Also a parasympathetic, serotonin and GABA nervous control disorders may be observed, and possibly prostate and PC muscles fatigue and fast-ejaculation nervous training.

A combination of Alpha-Amino, Multi-Alpha, 5HTP-Nettle (note that you shouldn’t take it if you are on SSRIs inhibitors!), GRB6-GABA, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will restore proper nervous and endocrine functioning, lower excitatory and inflammatory hormone levels in the bloodstream, prostate, and PC muscle, alter the negative ejaculation training plasticity, increase androgen hormones production, promote proper blood flow, restore proper modulation on sympathetic firin, and increase prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide.

After you’ve observed improvement you may want to consider solutions to additionally increase androgens. Stronger penile tissue expansion without excessive sympathetic firing results in slight numbness, increases the pleasure and prolongs the act.

You will also have to discontinue sexual activities for 2 to 4 weeks.

UPDATE
Hello Dr. Richards,
Thank you for your response and recommended treatment. I greatly appreciate the suggestions and will order these items. Since I last checked in I have discontinued the use of the SSRIs and I’m working on slowly reducing the amount of antidepressants to also discontinue their use.
I have one follow-up question, how long should I take the recommended items?
I have ordered the recommended products in early May and have not received them yet. I have noticed from other postings that these may take quite some time before delivery. I suppose for continued use I should early these products well in advance.
My question is regarding the length of time that I should continue use the products? Are there different time periods for the various products recommended above?
I’m committed to recovery and greatly appreciate your recommendations.
Thank you

ANSWER
Improvements should be observed almost immediately. However, the usual continuation of the therapy is 2 to 5 months. Usually a month after the symptoms have completely disappeared.
