Additional information
Wet Dreams and Sexual Exhaustion
Wet dreams usually occurs in the early morning.
A wet dream caused by normal biochemical occurrences will be present when the seminal vesicles are full of semen, and an additional burst in the seminal production is observed due to an elevation of DHEA and testosterone.
An abnormal wet dream generally has nothing to do with seminal production or level. It is a direct result of a sympathetic nervous response to the induced inflammatory hormone prostaglandin E2 and cortisol production during sleeping, when at the same time beta-endorphin, serotonin, and GABA nervous control fail to calm down the prostate's nervous ejaculation response to the excitation of prostaglandin E2 and Cortisol.
