Guys, check out what I found http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12780532 .

So according to the study, guys with prostatitis had inflammatory semen, objectively. The study goes and reassures that semen contains leukocytes by stating

“Our data supports previous results that elevated leukocyte counts in prostatic secretions and in ejaculate, as indicators of inflammation have no negative impact on total sperm count
I should mention that we’re not interested in the sperm count since it comes from the testicles and is irrelevant. The important is that it doesn’t even question that the semen can be inflammatory.”

I’ve seen guys question the whole “inflammatory semen” idea and denying the possibility of such semen existing. They usually claim that the semen is unaffected and can’t be used to transfer inflammation. Well, the study proves that similar term should exist and sexual exhaustion and other diseases may contribute to men having such semen. Moreover, I’ve read that ejaculating semen that is high on prostaglandin E2 may abrade your ejaculatory ducts, prostate, and urethra. This speculation seem very possible after the proof of inflammatory semen’s existence.

What do you think?
