11 weeks ago i was kneed in the penis when playing football. There was no bleeding or visible bruising, but the pain was instant.

My current symptoms are now as follows:

-Sensitivity – my penis head is extremely sensitive to light friction, especially on the left side. The feeling of my clothing rubbing against it is unbearable, almost like a burning feeling, and so I often have to wear a sock over it. This is one of my main issues, as it stops me from doing almost anything and has not improved at all.
Despite this it feels fairly normal to touch, or grab, as long as i am gentle. Sex feels relatively normal, although it is now much more sensitive, and hurts if i last too long, but nowhere near the discomfort of light friction caused by rubbing against underwear.

An example of the pain – my girlfriend accidently scratched my penis and it was extremely painful, this is something i would not have even noticed before the injury.

Oral sex is also almost unbearable, as the teeth rub against it the sensitivity is too much, and becomes very uncomfortable.

This sensitivity issue is something that started around 3 weeks after the trauma, before then i just had general pain in my whole penis.

-Urinating – my initial flow is reasonable, not noticeably worse than it used to be, but once my main flow has diminished, it takes me around a minute to get the rest of the urine out, through lightly shaking and ‘milking’ my penis. Even after this I often feel a presence of urine trapped inside my urethra, which sometimes burns, but is always uncomfortable. This trapped urine will some times come out even as long as an hour after i urinate, and is usualy about 2 drops
I also get a slight burn every time I urinate, specifically for the first few seconds, and there is also a feeling of constriction for the first bit of urine.

Painful ejaculation – since about 3 weeks after the injury I have been experiencing painful ejaculation. The pain is in the urethra, probably about mid way up my penis, and there is a definite feeling of constriction. There is also a lingering burn afterwards, sometimes for a short while, but sometimes for hours.
Despite this though the pain does vary, sometimes small, and rarely non existent, and I think it depends on the amount of pressure exerted. It feels as though if there is not enough pressure it gets a bit stuck causing pain.

Pain in general – My urethra especially is quite tender when touched some times, although other times it feels ok. i will occasionally get pain going all the way up my urethra.

I have seen a urologist – i am going to be tested for a urethral stricture, which would explain ejaculation pain and trouble urinating, but he said he doesn’t expect there to be a stricture because my penis didn’t bleed. he offered no alternative explanation.

He also said he had no idea about the sensitivity.

whilst i appreciate this is an erectile dysfunction website, these problems have made sex difficult, with pain during and afterwards, and i do not feel satisfied having seen a urologist. i look forward to any explanations/advice – specifically with the sensitivity issue.

Definitely sounds as the penis is inflamed. That would explain a lot of the symptoms. You may try applying cold wraps and possibly some anti-inflammatory creams.

I’d say you are lucky no collagen scarring or at least no indications of a severe such.

Still, better get some SR Cream as it has at least 7 anti-inflammatory natural ingredients. I’ve used it myself and it does wonders.
