Hi. I’m currently 21 years old. I’ve been masturbating since age 13. During the first few years it was under control with almost no symptoms. But since the last two years it really went out of hand. I masturbated almost every week, sometimes even twice or thrice a week. And I almost always did it while watching porn As a result I developed severe symptoms. Like testicular pain for a few minutes directly after ejaculation. Burning sensation in pubic region during ejaculation, severe weakness in joints, extreme tiredness, concentration problems, pain right below right ribs, no erection without porn, erection lasting only a few seconds even while watching porn. I’ve stopped for almost 4 weeks now, with no porn, masturbation. But my symptoms aren’t going away. I’ve been getting wet dreams almost every week since stopping masturbation. And these wet dreams are also causing mild symptoms like anal pain, pain directly below right ribs. I’ve been told that I will recover naturally if I just stay away from porn and masturbation. But I need more, especially a way to minimize nocturnal emissions. So please tell me what should I do?

Hey man. It definitely sounds like sexual exhaustion to me. The testicular pain after ejaculation (even during masturbation) usually points to low testosterone and androgens levels. I had that and the doctor found intermediate levels (around 400 ng dl). This is not considered medically low but hell people used to have over 900 ng dl just 30 years ago. Average population testosterone is going down rapidly with each passing year (I believe with 1% per year).

I’d suggest to try to elevate that first. Try cooling your testicle off with cold baths or if you are lazy or want to cool them off even more reliably whole day try using uBreeze. It has worked for well for me as far as T. levels goes. It definitely disappeared in just 10 days and never came back. No pain or discomfort should be experienced during or after masturbation, man (or don’t do it).

@ GrUUD testicular pain is not only testosterone or androgen levels related, especially if it’s during or after ejaculation itself.

The pain sounds like you have tissue elasticity and inflammation issues.

The symptoms do sound like sexual exhaustion. Around mold to moderate stage sexual exhaustion I’d say. Check this out: https://vimeo.com/113147667

The cooling of the testicles is definitely a good idea and cool baths work well. I’ve tried it myself. The one thing you have to be careful is to avoid the PSAS stage because of the increased androgens while still having high excitatory and inflammatory hormones. So even if you feel like masturbating after I’d suggest abstaining. 1 to 3 times per week is not that high though so you should be able to diminish that I believe.

The no erection without porn do sound like low androgens to me as well. Maybe try to address that first and see how it goes.

Hi, thanks for the advice guys. Now I’ve noticed that since my first post here my health has become better. My erections are returning somewhat. They are not very hard nor do they last more than 2 min, but then again it’s a start. Also my semen discharge during wet dreams has also changed from being colorless to white.

But one thing that’s really worrying me is that my testicles have literally shrunk during the last two years. They were nice and healthy about 4 years back when I was 17. They were about size 18 on the orchidometer scale but now they are about size 8 or 10 like they were during or before puberty. And I think that they are still shrinking. Plus I’ve read that testicular shrinkage has negative effects on fertility. So any workable solution for combating this shrinkage would be greatly appreciated.

Finally I would like to add that I’ve recently started playing squash so I was wondering if that would help my recovery and my testicles and not further shrink them.

    Thanks in advance
