I am in my mid 30’s and have been suffering from some symptoms that have caused me much stress for over 12 years, possibly longer.

Flaccid penis has almost no feeling/shrunken/large vein running down the top of shaft. Very rarely wake up with an erection. Can have sex but only once and then no desire to again. This is with my long term partner or other partners I have had

Also have other symptoms that might be related

Eye floaters, light sensitivity, red eye lids, face skin problems intermittent redness.
Wake up after 8 hrs sleep sometimes feeling exhausted. Feelings of no enjoyment from time to time

I have seen many doctors including neurological/nephrology/urology/endocrine all have reported no clinical reasons for these disturbing symptoms.

I have slightly raised creatinine and prolactin but both specialist say this isn’t the reason.

I exercise regularly, weight training, I est a balanced diet so just don’t understand what has happened to me.

I welcome any advice you have for me, as I’m quite desperate at this stage. I’ve noticed on your forum people suggesting things ranging from fish oil to 5htp to l-arginine??

Many thanks

ANSWER
Hello,

Similar complaints are usually indicative of a sexual exhaustion-related penile damage. The symptoms you describe are usually indicative of a mild to moderate stage of sexual exhaustion.

Exhausted individuals usually have a notably heightened chance of injuring their penis through the weakened nervous modulation on inflammatory response and impaired proper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis functioning for lowered androgens. Androgen levels are considered crucial to penile tissues health and integrity. Prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide local tissue levels are usually low as well, given that you experience loss of erectile capability and sensitivity.

What probably happened here was you sexually exhausted yourself at one point and never really recovered. You then sustained penile injury which, by your presentation of the case, seems to have been uneventful (not uncommon with exhaustion influenced injuries) and went unnoticed for a period of time before you noticed the mentioned subsequent abnormalities, such as: varicose veins and lack of sensitivity. You do not seem to report any severe shape abnormalities, tilting, or inflammation, which is usually indicative of a milder case (but still sufficiently impacting enough to influence corpus spongiosum’s sealing mechanism for varicose veins).

I have seen many doctors including neurological/nephrology/urology/endocrine all have reported no clinical reasons for these disturbing symptoms.

This is not uncommon with the milder uneventful injuries that were gradual enough so that no hematoma or severe scarring was left and only partially affected a given penile tissue layer. Similar tissue inconsistencies are usually difficult to detect since there are no traces of a specific injury spot.

I welcome any advice you have for me, as I’m quite desperate at this stage. I’ve noticed on your forum people suggesting things ranging from fish oil to 5htp to l’arginine??

That is correct. I usually recommend a wide range of practices based on the specific case. For instance, I used to recommend 5HTP and even GRB6-GABA for cases where I suspected a continuous and excessive inflammatory response and weakened serotonin-GABA nervous modulation. However, the latest SR-Cream modification is particularly effective with local inflammatory responses so the need of 5HTP and GRB6-GABA has diminished after its launch.

The best way to address the issue purely on a local tissue level would be utilizing a combination of SR-Cream, vitamin E cream, light tissue massages, and hot-cold temperature alteration. This combination is usually very effective in dissolving any mild collagen tissue scarrings and increasing elasticity prostaglandins E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide for healing.

Naturally, to address the issue in a more complete manner, speed up the recovery and avoid the same happening again, you may consider a combination of Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-HGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil. It will stabilize neuroendocrine functioning, increase prostaglandins E1 E3, Nitric Oxide, and androgen levels. It’s usually very effective with most of the symptoms of sexual exhaustion that are related to lowered androgens, safe from the serotonin-GABA nervous modulation.

Hi,
Please help me.
Im going to keep this short as possible.
I came across PMO when I was 15 and have been doing it until now, I’m 21. Its something which I am ashamed of and always felt guilty about although it never used to give me any issues and I always used to feel refreshed afterwards. Never had sex, virgin. I’m about 9 stones 1 lbs in weight.
Over the years I can tell that I got addicted and I tried several times to leave the P the M and the O but I always failed. I think the longest I got to was 15 days and the urge was crazy for me to resist. I always thought and knew I was doing something bad but I’d always been told at school that there is nothing wrong with PMO and that its good for you.
My normal frequency would be daily, to long edging sessions to release right at the end, I would waste hours going from video to video. Most days were once, occasionally 2 or 3 times in a day and sometimes none in a day but the last two were rare. During the first 4 years everything was fine. It’s just this last year of 2014 at which everything’s gone wrong. At this time my life was hectic, I was working hard on my business from home. University, assignments, my diet was extremely poor now that I think of it. I skipped breakfast or simply had nothing nutritional in my breakfast most days just a cup of tea if I did decide to have anything. Im bombarded by pressure from my parents and brothers to get a job etc. Now to the story:
Early 2014 I had a flight to catch and that morning I did a PMO with again no breakfast or simply rubbish foods, the pressure of getting to the airport etc. gave me what I now realise looking back my first taste of an anxiety/panic attack which lasted a few hours. I got over it quickly and I was running back to normal with the constant lifestyle and PMO.
Prior to the start of June I had exams and the poor lifestyle continued. Prior to my Exam in the morning as usual did a PMO which resulted in me almost running out of the exam which I now looking back at again was a result of PMO and panic and anxiety. I don’t know how but I managed to sit through the exam and ended up getting an A+ grade. My PMO and lifestyle continued after this and I had no issues and once again was back to normal. Looking back I should have taken these as crucial signs but I didn’t at the time. At no point in time did I think or care what caused this issue and simply put it down to nerves.
At this point I had been on holiday for a month and a half. Fast-forwarding until June of 2014; 2 weeks prior to restarting University. The PMO continued without any issues, looking back now I can see that my health started to decline as I got closer to what I call the crisis which took place in July of 2014. I had decided to go on a fast for a few days which didn’t include a PMO but on the fifth day in the morning I ended up PMO’ing. Later that night I had to go to hospital for no apparent reason. I had headache, low mood, dry skin, fatigue, shaking, hot and cold flashes, abdominal discomfort, my heart beat and BP was all over the place. I was told nothing was wrong and that it was dehydration. I was put on saline and was sent home. What I do notice looking at my blood work from that day is that my potassium was on the higher end and my sodium was quite low which made me thing about adrenal fatigue or Addison’s disease etc. but ill talk about that later. So this experience seemed to have increased my anxiety. But looking back it seemed that my body was constantly being drained of vital nutrients over time leading up to the event.
After returning from the hospital it took much longer for me to get my health back, and I didn’t PMO for about 3 weeks into uni and I was fatigued, tired and stressed. I happened to start feeling better abstaining from the PMO which at that time I again didn’t realise. Back to the next few PMO’s and that was it, extreme headaches, couldn’t move from my bedroom to my brothers room. Fatigue, eye floaters, brain fog, weak muscles, dry skin, nausea you name it. I ended up going to my doctor who checked for things like parasites, celiac disease. But didn’t find anything, he told me to come back but I didn’t end up going back, more on that later. When he told me they couldn’t find anything over the phone a few days later the severe anxiety set in because I didn’t know what was happening to me and that I would be this burnt-out for the rest of my life because nothing was getting better. I think at this stage maybe I did develop an anxiety problem caused from my poor health and worry that I wouldn’t be able to please a women. That night I did another PMO and another one right after and no sperm came out I was dry. A few hours later and it literally sent me into severe anxiety, insomnia, crying at night, anorexia (unable to eat), and decreased appetite, sex drive and libido had gone. The majority of symptoms lasted about a week and a half when I researched online and I came across YBOP and reditt etc. and it just made so much sense everything seemed to click and I thought rite I’ll do the reboot and I’ll be fine. It was 5 years of non-stop PMO, porn addiction, masturbation addiction all adding up. I used to PMO to any feeling I felt sad, happy, excited, to waste time from boredom etc.
I decided to reboot. I decided to lower all stress and since I was now back on holiday there was no university. I started having good breakfast, eggs, seeds, dates etc left all sugary foods, just improved my lifestyle on a whole and started sleeping earlier. Over the first reboot it made a huge difference.
I ended up doing roughly 90 days free from PMO cold turkey on my first go. The first 2 weeks of it I experience massive withdrawal symptoms, all the ones you can think of. It was horrible. I was in a massive flatline, no penis response, no morning erections. The symptoms gradually decreased and improved up until day 43 which I noticed a major change and I slowly started seeing morning erections and sensitivity in the penis. Depression had gone after about the 3rd week into it but the Severe Anxiety remained. Everything seemed to be getting better and I was feeling better and better as the days went by. At about days 50 or so the anxiety lifted off and I was back to my normal self with only very minor symptoms such as lethargy. Day 75 arrived when I had my first wet dream and I felt amazing after it. No anxiety no symptoms, everything had cleared and I experienced no post wet dream orgasm ejaculation symptoms. Every day I was having morning wood. I felt amazing. Back to normal. I continued the reboot for another 20 or so days I promised myself to continue the reboot and do no more PMO related activities but I was naive and somehow ended up back to edging which I did for about 11 days without orgasm just P & M. the edging was too intense and I gave in and orgasmed & ejaculated a huge amount whilst lying down edging to my phone in bed (something which I hadn’t done prior to those 11 days). The thing that triggered it was seeing news of a new pornstar on facebook. I felt fine after that orgasm but did feel guilty of letting myself relapse. I didn’t have symptoms so I slept well through the night. This first reboot did include lots of fantasies and long edging sessions towards the end so it wasn’t a pure reboot The following day I felt a little lethargic but I thought that’s fine none of the symptoms have returned. I was happy, I was back to normal, little did I know come 7pm when I started to have dinner, I was happily talking to a family member and then something in my brain flicked a switched and anxiety returned right there and then out of nowhere. I had to get up luckily I had eaten most of my food so nothing looked fishy to my family members the headaches returned and the lethargy, and low moods and the fluctuating energy levels. But this time no loss of appetite or insomnia. This time it wasn’t however as severe as the first time. But still very bad. The only time I had insomnia was the period I mentioned earlier prior to my first reboot. And some during the withdrawal phases of the first reboot.
As a result I started another reboot from the next morning and it has now been 25 days PMO free and this time I have eliminated any form of sexual thought as well as not looking at women on the street. The first 20 days were tough with anxiety, if there’s no anxiety then depressed mood, or fatigue, lethargy. But it’s taken much less time to start feeling a little bit better than the first reboot which I’m taking as a positive sign. I hope it all goes away and I’m thinking of going as long as I can this time without any form of sexual thought or activity.
What I have noticed over the last 150 days or so is that 95% of my anxiety always however tends to go away after 6pm and my energy levels drastically increase after that time. During the days it’s very tough and I feel fatigued and the energy levels are low, but after 6pm it’s like I get a second wind of energy and I feel fine. I also have noticed that I crave more salt. And I’m thirstier. In the early stages of the reboot I also noticed dryer skin. And I have dry skin patches behind my ear. Do you think this could be adrenal fatigue or insufficiency? Maybe my adrenals can no longer produce cortisol properly?
Also like to say that my hair has gradually started to fall out from the very first incident and is very brittle.
I also noticed that over the last year prior to all this started I notice I have a varicocele on my left testicle, it’s not too big but it is visible and you can feel it when the scrotum is soft and warm. I did read somewhere that a varicocele can cause the testicle to overheat which results in low testosterone and poor sperm production, thus resulting in symptoms similar to the ones I experienced. Could this be causing problems me anxiety after orgasm or ejaculation? Maybe testosterone drops too low?
I have not taken any supplements and am not sure if I should as I’m not a fan of popping pills etc. I need to fix my body because I want to get married soon. I don’t have problems with erections at the moment it’s just when I ejaculate or orgasm that creates issues of mainly anxiety. I feel so bad that ive ruined my body and the thought of this makes me feel down. Because of my issues a girl I used to like alot just got married to someone else and that’s put even more pressure on me and I feel so down and bad about this. This has just made things worse. I fear I can’t get a girl now because I won’t be able to satisfy her but my parents will push me to get married in about a year or maybe 2 years’ time.
I also notice that when I last PMO’d and times before that towards the latter years I get a rush of adrenaline similar to when you get frightened rather than a pleasure feeling when I look at PMO. Do you think looking at porn and over masturbation can cause these issues because it’s different from normal sex?
I haven’t had real sex so don’t know if I would have symptoms after that. Same goes for masturbation without porn, haven’t tried that either. And when I do orgasm/ejaculate through masturbation it’s normally after a long edging session. And why it is that wet dreams don’t give me any symptoms.

Sorry for such a long story:
I know I have asked some questions above but I have tried to summarise them below:
1. Is this sexual exhaustion where my nervous systems are so battered from all the PMO?
2. How do I regain the ability to have no symptoms a day after ejaculation which last so long? In other words how to I go back to being normal? (Im sure if I did more O’s at once the symptoms would be much more severe)
3. Should I go to the doctor again? I have resisted as he will probably prescribe me SSRI’s or something which will not solve the problem.
4. Why is there no symptoms after a wet dream but only when I PMO?
5. Should I have my bloods done to see if there are any deficiencies?
6. Is my varicocele and low testosterone a possible cause?
7. Could I have adrenal fatigue, Addison’s disease adrenal insufficiency or some sort of thyroid problem? Perhaps the adrenals are being pushed to their limits and can’t work properly from so much stress caused to them over time? (thyroid problems run in my family)
8. If in the first reboot I noticed so much improvement what do you advise?
9. Are there any similar conditions to mine?
10. Have people recovered?

Hi,

Simple question.

SHORT STORY:
1. I kept masturbating daily, sometimes a few more times a day, max probably 3 times a day but that’s very rare.
2. Always to porn usually, sometimes no porn, death-grip, long edging sessions that went maybe a few hours sometimes, normally when Id wake up in the morning or before I went to sleep.
3. Did it for 5 years. Tastes started at plain vanilla stuff and over the years got more intense. Some videos stopped appealing to me towards the end of the 5 year period. I always looked for more arousing stuff.
4. Searching for videos and waking up and thinking lets have a porn session use to give me a massive adrenaline rush always.
5. Orgasm/Ejaculation never used to give me any issues 6. Symptoms gradually crept up on me without me noticing after each orgasm/ejaculation/porn session.
7. for about 2 months symptoms got worse and worse after each PMO.

8. Then one day I did as usual another PMO and this time got severe anxiety, extreme fatigue, headaches, brain-fog, changing moods, social anxiety, higher more trembly voice, insomnia, no appetite, weak muscles, little bits of depression, all symptoms of adrenal fatigue negative thoughts started entering my head which never used to like how will I get a job, how will I get a girl, how am I gonna live life etc etc I never used to think stuff like this but they just started all of a sudden.

9. Read YBOP so thought I need to reboot. so did cold turkey 90 days off PMO. FELT AMAZING, a lot of the symptoms gone in that time.

10. Thought I was cured, started edging for 10 days, 11th day PMO’d and bam all symptoms returned at full force the following day. (not during or after orgasm, the symptoms start the following day)

11. Now in second reboot (its now 65 days into second reboot have noticed much faster to start recovering and for the symptoms to go away compared with the first reboot about 25 days or so compared to some 70 days in the first reboot) in saying this the fatigue and headaches are still there and I notice I always seem to feel better during the evening for some reason. my headaches go away and I feel like normal at night time.

Questions:
What is cause of these symptoms?
Is this Sexual Exhaustion from too much orgasm ejaculation, overstimulation and inability for the body to cope with such high demands?

HOW DO I FIX MYSELF?

I am taking a supplements, Organic Greens Super Food that has lots of good stuff in it herbs etc in the morning. Amino Acid complex during mid day, sometimes fish oil. sometimes protein shakes, a multivitamin at night time. What are your thoughts on this? I have changed the lifestyle, eliminated porn forever and started being more positive.

please reply me, im struggling to cope with the thought that I will never be able to have an orgasm again without getting such severe symptoms.

please help me fix this, im so worried

ur thoughts are greatly appreciated

I already asked once but I received no reply from you

ANSWER
I apologize for the late reply. I have found the first email and will attach it to the case. So, let’s get to it straight away:

My normal frequency would be daily, to long edging sessions to release right at the end, I would waste hours going from video to video. Most days were once, occasionally 2 or 3 times in a day and sometimes none in a day but the last two were rare. During the first 4 years everything was fine. It’s just this last year of 2014 at which everything’s gone wrong.

Hour long edging sessions can be extremely taxing on one’s neuroendoctine balance and proper organism functioning. Edging, as a practice, is definitely a more harmful variation of conventional masturbation. I would say that it is not uncommon to experience similar severity of the symptoms after years of consistent edging.

External pressure and stress can definitely be a contributing factor.

As you have noticed yourself then, increased sympathetic response to even minor triggers is quite common and usually very related to sexual exhaustion (in cases where similar lifestyle is observed).

Later that night I had to go to hospital for no apparent reason. I had headache, low mood, dry skin, fatigue, shaking, hot and cold flashes, abdominal discomfort, my heart beat and BP was all over the place.

Similar symptoms are almost definitely related to improper serotonin-GABA nervous modulation on excitatory and inflammatory response. Excessive sympathetic activity and inflammation will basically lead to all of the described symptoms and more. I will additionally expand on the phenomenon down my post.

That night I did another PMO and another one right after and no sperm came out I was dry. A few hours later and it literally sent me into severe anxiety, insomnia, crying at night, anorexia (unable to eat), and decreased appetite, sex drive and libido had gone. The majority of symptoms lasted about a week and a half.

It definitely sounds like a moderate to severe case of sexual exhaustion.

I ended up doing roughly 90 days free from PMO cold turkey on my first go. The first 2 weeks of it I experience massive withdrawal symptoms, all the ones you can think of. It was horrible. I was in a massive flatline, no penis response, no morning erections.

You definitely did well to endure 90 days and also avoided going over the “three month mark” I’ve mentioned in some of my previous answers as the safe limit for such. The flatline was to be expected and served to provide you with an accurate representation of the actual state of your condition.

The thing that triggered it was seeing news of a new pornstar on facebook.

The unfortunate fact is that addiction is not so easily removed from one’s brain. It can stay dormant for months or even years, waiting for a suitable trigger to reveal itself.

I was happily talking to a family member and then something in my brain flicked a switched and anxiety returned right there and then out of nowhere.

A bit uncommon I must say, not because of the suddenty of its appearance but because of the complete lack of any supporting symptoms.

This is actually very common with people who experience any form of anxiety disorder. It is most likely related to the way our bodies utilize certain neurostransmitters (in particular serotonin) during the natural circadian rhythm. During the evenings and at night the body becomes much more reliant on melatonin for its functioning, and serotonin abnormalities (such as low levels or certain receptor alterations) are less prone to be detected while under “lighter load”.

Do you think this could be adrenal fatigue or insufficiency? Maybe my adrenals can no longer produce cortisol properly?

Certain cortisol abnormalities are to be expected but they are usually a result of the excessive sympathetic functioning for increased anxiety, stress, and inflammation. Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis is usually severely affected with sexual exhaustion, so there’s the possibility of suffering from a mild manifestation of such. However, taking in account the time needed to develop and your age, I would not suspect any permanent or severe abnormalities as of yet.

I did read somewhere that a varicocele can cause the testicle to overheat which results in low testosterone and poor sperm production, thus resulting in symptoms similar to the ones I experienced. Could this be causing problems me anxiety after orgasm or ejaculation? Maybe testosterone drops too low?

It is true. Patients with varicocele will definitely experience not only lowered testosterone but lowered androgens as a whole. It’s still a controversial subject, as in theory those levels are balanced by a negative feedback mechanism, meaning that the body will produce until it reaches the required levels (even if one testicle is present it should work double for instance). Of course, this theory has severe cracks in its viability, as for instance, it won’t explain the evolutionary need of testicles being outside the body if that ultimately won’t have any impact on androgens levels.

There are some studies pointing out numerous abnormalities happening during testicular overheating, partially preventing the body from utilizing testicular potential regardless of its sheer load input.

The reality is that most of the patients with varicocele do suffer from lowered androgen levels.

Androgens levels in general are known to be related to feelings of courage and calmness. A pretty straightforward indicator is the severely increased predominance of anxiety disorders in females, rather than males.

And to answer your question in a more straightforward manner – yes, this is definitely contributing to your anxiety.

I also notice that when I last PMO’d and times before that towards the latter years I get a rush of adrenaline similar to when you get frightened rather than a pleasure feeling when I look at PMO. Do you think looking at porn and over masturbation can cause these issues because it’s different from normal sex?

You will get those with normal sex too, predominantly through dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversions and increased demands on your cardiovascular system. The difference is that it is much more aggressive in its occurrence in people who have weakened modulation on serotonin-GABA nervous modulation (masturbation or not). Artery constriction can make it even worse.

1. Is this sexual exhaustion where my nervous systems are so battered from all the PMO?

The symptoms are definitely indicative of a moderate to severe stage of sexual exhaustion. PMO Addiction combined with individual genetic makeup and lifestyle can definitely lead to it.

2. How do I regain the ability to have no symptoms a day after ejaculation which last so long? In other words how to I go back to being normal? (Im sure if I did more O’s at once the symptoms would be much more severe).

You were generally on the right track. The way to go is to transform the negative neuroplasticity you’ve developed over the years into a positive one. The interneuronal connections have been developed and ordered to process information in a specific manner and it usually takes much conscious effort into rewiring them to induce the desired response.

3. Should I go to the doctor again? I have resisted as he will probably prescribe me SSRI’s or something which will not solve the problem.

It depends on the individual specialist. However, based on the symptoms you’ve described you are very correct in your expectation. I would strongly advise against any SSRIs / SNRIs as they can worsen the condition even further. Be sure to check: https://cure-erectile-dysfunction.org/antidepressants-and-sexual-function .

4. Why is there no symptoms after a wet dream but only when I PMO?

Nocturnal emissions are both shorter and notably less intensive as far as neuroendocrine load goes. They are also well timed with hGH / androgen spikes.

That being said, some people would still observe negative side effects and experience slower recovery (not nearly as bad as from PMO, though), especially if the emissions are excitatory / inflammatory in nature.

5. Should I have my bloods done to see if there are any deficiencies?

Similar generalized tests are usually quite ineffective in detecting the imbalanced state through the inability to monitor neurotransmitter levels in the brain, the wide range of acceptable results, and the flat ratio of hormone-neurohormone-neurotransmitter interactions monitored.

6. Is my varicocele and low testosterone a possible cause?

It’s definitely a contributing factor.

7. Could I have adrenal fatigue, Addison’s disease adrenal insufficiency or some sort of thyroid problem? Perhaps the adrenals are being pushed to their limits and can’t work properly from so much stress caused to them over time? (thyroid problems run in my family).

It is possible. However, it is not likely. And even so – the root issue is probably not the thyroid or adrenals. Naturally, the statement would be true only if you’ve not reached a breaking point, which is still unlikely since you’ve managed to restore quite a bit of your proper organism functioning for 90 days.

8. If in the first reboot I noticed so much improvement what do you advise?

The obvious suggestion would be to continue with what has proven to be of assistance. I will mention a couple of suggestions at the end of the post, though.

9. Are there any similar conditions to mine?

Yes, I’ve seen quite a few very similar cases.

10. Have people recovered?

They have. There are some useful practices that have worked well for almost all of the similar cases, even if each has its own minor individual differences.

Questions:
What is cause of these symptoms?
Is this Sexual Exhaustion from too much orgasm ejaculation, overstimulation and inability for the body to cope with such high demands?

It’s usually caused by a combination of factors, most of them related to self-abusing pattern of activities, individual gene expression, and general lifestyle. Let me mention some of the causes for your symptoms:

* Excessive masturbation usually leads to imbalances in acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, GABA levels and their respective receptor count, which in turn leads to a wide set of symptoms. However, one of the most notable consequences is the impaired serotonin-GABA nervous control on neuronal activity and excitatory / inflammatory response. As a result, excessive cortisol, prostaglandin E2, and other inflammatory factors are observed in blood, tissues, and brain. This creates a negative neuroplasticity extremely fast since excitatory factors have always played a part and been important for behavioral modulation in times of acute external stressor exposure.

* Artery constriction for increased inflammation and lessened blood flow to tissues.

* Adrenal gland adjustments to chronically create more stress and inflammatory hormones, such as cortisol and epinephrine, at the expense of DHEA and other androgens. This is closely related to the negative neuroplasticity loop I mentioned.

* The lowered androgens as a result of the varicocele you mentioned.

* The increased levels of cortisol, prostaglandin E2, norepinephrine, epinephrine, and especially prolactin to negatively affect the levels of GnRH, LH and FSH, and together with the arterial inflammation and constriction kill testicular function as well as hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis’ proper functioning. Matters only get worse by the possibility of your testicles not functioning at their full potential from the start due to the mentioned varicocele. Less androgens to modulate inflammatory response, testicular insulin resistance, energy levels, tissue and testicular health, hormonal conversions, and neurotransmitter homeostasis, will result in even more vicious cycle of inflammation to suppress them even further through low dopamine levels and chronically heightened prolactin.

I have changed the lifestyle, eliminated porn forever and started being more positive.”

You’re definitely on the right track there. However, you’ve missed addressing the mentioned serotonin-GABA nervous modulation, which is usually of extreme importance. Rewriting a negative neuroplasticity usually takes time and is a tricky thing to do if one is unaware of what he’s doing. It can support itself through feedback reactions so ideally you’d have to address each and every issue simultaneously. That’s why just a random set of supplements frequently prove ineffective.

There are some general things and practices you should consider. Such as:

* Exercise
Running is very beneficial for Nitric Oxide-hGH boosts, as well as for improved neurogenesis.

* Proper diet.
Much fiber, fruits, avoid milk with prostaglandin E2 analogs, avoid empty calories and much red meat.

* Negative ion exposure
The general rule is wherever there is water, there are negative ions: rivers, lakes, oceans and ponds, even your own shower.

* Massages
Similar practices definitely have a positive effect on local inflammatory processes and proper blood circulation restoration.

* PMO discontinuation
It’s definitely a good thing that you’re already on it. You’ll need to discontinue sexual activities for 1 to 2 months (several times if you have to) and then limit masturbation as well as other similar in nature activities to 1-3 times a week for 3 to 5 months.
Additionally, edging has to be completely discontinued.

* Healing visualization and meditation
Here particularly useful will be https://yourhealingmind.org , as guided imagery frequently produces results even beyond conventional medical expectations.

Also, a combination of Alpha-Amino, Multi-Alpha, 5HTP-Nettle (should be gradually discontinued 3rd to 4th month), GRB6-GABA (should be gradually discontinued 3rd to 4th month), Alpha-HGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil for the specific case, will improve nervous and endocrine functioning, stabilize acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, GABA levels, aid hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis proper functioning, restore proper serotonin-GABA nervous modulation on excitatory and inflammatory response, increase androgens, increase elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide, alter numerous gene expressions, and eventually rewrite the negative neuroplasticity developed.

Of course, you did mention that you are taking a similar combination so if you have found that it works for you I will suggest just adding L-Tryptophan or 5HTP-Nettle and GRB6-GABA.

Note that the primary goal for the first 3 to 4 months is to restore the proper acetylcholine-dopamine-serotonin-GABA levels / ratio and modulation on inflammatory and excitatory response, as well as proper dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversions and dopamine-prolactin ratio. You would then need to monitor your overall stress levels (both physical and mental) for some months to make sure you’re keeping the neuroplasticity that has been developed.

Please, keep me updated on the case.

Hi Mark,

quick update: its now about day 71 into my second reboot and im feeling a lot better. nearly 98% of my anxiety is gone. and a lot of the other symptoms are also gone.

few questions:
1. in my country GABA is illegal so what can I consume in stead of this??

2. also when should I consider trying a very quick masturbation again? is it too early or should I wait until day 120?

Thanks so much for all your help.. I have sent you a previous message with information in regards to what supplements I am taking but you haven’t replied that one yet. so if you could kindly answer them it would be much appreciated. I appreciate all your help your one person who keeps me going in this tough time in my life.

ANSWER
It’s a pleasure. I apologise for the late reply. Let’s get straight to it:

Thank you for being so thorough with the report. Let me say that your supplementation definitely seems very adequate and on point, with the exception I mentioned in my previous post. Additional and balanced 5HTP-Nettle and a “Picamilon” quality GABA supplementation (where the GABA has been combined with Niacin to pass the Blood–brain barrier) are essential to serotonin-GABA nervous modulation on inflammatory / excitatory response.

I also have 5-HTP (5-Hydroxy-L-Tryptophan) 50mg available but im not too sure if I should use it because I have read that it can lower dopamine

It is true, however, the effect is very mild at best and is basically required to diminish any excessive inflammatory / excitatory response, excessive dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversions, and to prevent “abstinence anxiety” caused by such on day 30 and above. Sexual activities discontinuation will actually increase dopamine above its usual range, even with heavy 5HTP supplementation.

is nettle a necessity with the 5-htp as mine doesn’t include nettle.

I won’t go as far as saying that it is absolutely necessary but it adds a very positive and thought out effect to the mix by addressing numerous inflammatory, anaemia, hair-loss, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), osteoarthritis, and digestive related problems in a quite effective manner.

how much dosage of GABA do I require?

If it’s not combined with niacin, I won’t recommend taking any since you’d have to rely on particularly large numbers to be somewhat effective. Standard GRB6-7-GABA dosage applies otherwise.

also is this order of taking the supplements okay. if you can advise when to take each supplement that would be great.

It’s usually highly individual. You may want to experiment with those and just go for whatever you feel like works best.

1. in my country GABA is illegal so what can I consume instead of this??

That’s quite unfortunate. I guess you’d have to rely just on GABA promoting foods, which is usually not quite as effective.

Also when should I consider trying a very quick masturbation again? is it too early or should I wait until day 120?

I won’t recommend going over 90 days (as quite a few patients report related side effects), so it’s certainly not too soon. Anywhere in between days 60 to 90 would be ideal.

Please, keep me updated on the case.

Glad if I could help!

Could you be kind enough and expand a bit on the correlation between stress in your life and weak erections + sexual exhaustion?

I myself have noticed a very direct link since I was on a vacation a couple of weeks ago and while there I had what I consider to be normal feeling in the penis. I could masturbate and the erections were satisfying. I even had sex without issues.

Now I’m back to my crappy old stressful job and it’s like it shot my libido right off my balls. Not only that but I also started suffering from other sexual exhaustion symptoms again! The penis feels limp and my erection are weak, my orgasms are not as satisfying and the most ironic of all is that even though my erections are weak and kind of numb, I started suffering from premature ejaculation. I must tell you, my girlfriend is not satisfied even one bit.

So, what is the connection, doc? Why is this happening?

ANSWER
Yes, as you have already noticed yourself – there is a well established connection between stress (both physical and emotional) and erectile quality.

Physical and emotional stress will result in excessive norepinephrine – epinephrine conversions and burn numerous vital hormones / neurohormones / neurotransmitters in the process. Sufferers will also experience excessive inflammatory prostaglandin E2 production and release into internal tissues and blood for elevated core temperature, which is really harmful as far as the proper functioning of numerous organs (such as brain, heart, liver, lungs, gallbladder, kidneys, adrenal glands, testicles, eyes, and ears).

Chronically overstimulated and overheated pituitary will release extra prolactin to shut down libido, testicular, and erectile functions. It’s a useful short term energy preservation mechanism which if prolonged, however, will not lead to the evolutionary desired results at all.

Also, excessive dopamine – norepinephrine conversions will weaken the dopamine nervous action on hypotlahamic – pituitary – testicular axis as well as numerous organs and tissues, which will result in low dopamine symptoms such as: low libido, addictions, depression, lack of ambition, antisocial behavior, anhedonia, etc.

The weakened nervous modulation (particularly serotonin – GABA) on excitatory and inflammatory response will also lead to premature ejaculation (as you have already noticed). It will also lead to either excessive or numbed penile sensitivity, depending on the ratio between androgens / neurotransmitters / and numerous inflammatory hormones.

My sexlife with my wife is basically zero since she hit menopause and my preoccupation with pornography. I’ve tried breaking from the porn many times without success. I have almost all the sexual exhaustion symptoms that you list. My ED is getting quite bad.

Once I find the courage to stop viewing pornography, will my libido go to zero? Presently I’m experiencing what probably is PSAS. I’ve been tested in the past with high norepinephine. Could my adrenal function return to somewhat normal if I quit masturbating? I currently am on hydrocortisone to be able to function.

Are there supplements that I can take address the PSAS so I can have a better chance of breaking free of pornography?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

ANSWER
Yes, usually TRT regulates Corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) stimulated hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis activity in men, with divergent effects on Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and cortisol, frequently leading to peripheral (adrenal) locus for suppressive effects on cortisol.

Your self-diagnosis is probably on the spot, I’d conclude that once you discontinue the pornography and masturbation practices the libido will go to practically non existent for 1-3 weeks at least.

“Could my adrenal function return to somewhat normal if I quit masturbating?”

Yes, however, it will take a good 4 to 12 month period. And you shouldn’t completely discontinue the practice.

“Are there supplements that I can take address the PSAS so I can have a better chance of breaking free of pornography?”

It’s a vicious cycle. However, the most important thing is to break the cycle of excessive inflammatory response keeping you in a state of “heat” and allow nervous (and not only) rejuvenation. The best way would be to improve the GABA-Serotonin nervous modulation on inflammatory response as well as HGH release, improve nervous and endocrine functioning, aid hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis proper functioning, increase androgens, increase elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide, alter numerous gene expressions, and eventually rewrite the negative neuroplasticity developed with 5HTP-Nettle (half the dosage), GRB6-GABA, Alpha-AGH, Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino and Ultra-Purified-FishOil.

5HTP-Nettle and GRB6-GABA are to be gradually discontinued (75%, 50%, 25% every week) after 2-3 months. The libido will improve but remain relatively low for the initial 2-3 month period, though.

Also, you may want to possibly consider solutions to increase the effectiveness of the remaining testicle, given that it is the case.

About 12 months ago I made the mistake of trying those jelqing exercises. I did them for a few weeks and noticed some lack of sensitivity in the penis but nothing major. Then one night I decided to masturbate vigorously using the pillow sheets as an aid (‘humped the bed’). I ejaculated about 6 times that day and on the last one I felt a slight pain and then my penis shrunk up and went cold. Since then I have all of the symptoms of a jelqing injury, including:

– Firm, flaccid penis – No nocturnal or morning erections – Lack of spontaneous erections (only get one when watching porn) – Difficulty urinating/ weak urine stream – Lack of sensation in penis shaft and glans – Loss of sexual desire/libido.

I did see some improvement when I used Gingo Biloba, but they are hard to get a hold off. I still masturbate about once a week now, which is down from the 3 times a day I did for a few years before the injury. My GP is clueless and prescribed me Risperdal for the anxiety. Please Dr. Has anyone recovered from this? And is it reversible? I just want to know if there is hope for me!

Many Thanks

ANSWER
Jelqing, if not backed up with sufficient elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide levels, as well as proper androgens levels and serotonin-GABA nervous modulation on inflammatory response, will result in excessive collagen scar tissue release for an ongoing erectile dysfunction problems. Note that in a state of imbalance and heightened prostaglandin E2 levels even masturbation may result in abnormal inflammatory reaction for excessive collagen tissue release.

Retracted firm flaccid penile tissues and lost sensitivity are common. If that is the case, one may expect to observe further penile shape alterations and erection abnormalities (after several months), such as penile bending and an hourglass penile shape at 60-70% erection.

Firm flaccid penis condition and lost sensation may be contributed purely to insufficient androgens, elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3, and Nitric Oxide, even without any collagen scar tissue release. However, abnormal levels of the listed above make ones penile tissues highly succeptible to injuries of any kind (even through masturbation alone), so one may have to be quick to react.

“Has anyone recovered from this? And is it reversible?”

Yes, it is usually completely reversible. Note that varicose veins (if observed) will lessen in size and become healthy but will never fully disappear. One may even recover without any assistance through different gene expressions and individual neurohormone levels. However, the process of recovery could be significantly shortened if properly addressed.

I’m 28 and have a long history of severe overmasturbation (sometimes up to 10 times a day) since my early teen years. I got married early at 21 while still in the university. At first everything was fine and I had healthy marriage. My wife sometimes used to say she felt I was shooting inside of her. My sperm used to be very thick as well. Now what I’m experiencing is low libido, semi-spurt of sperm while ejaculating, the power of ejaculation diminished severely and I just ooze some of it. Also experience premature ejaculation (1 minute at most). I feel that my penis has shrunk and the glans seems to be just hyper sensitive to the point of where I just don’t want anybody to touch it. I’m stressed, can’t concentrate, have a freaking buzzing in my ears all day long and can’t stand any noise, I can’t sleep, have headaches….basically I feel like an old man. I remember some of our teachers complaining about the noise in the classroom back in the day and I used to be like “WTF is wrong with those biatch ass teachers” but now I wouldn’t be able to stand in such kind of noise for more than 20 minutes….so I guess I have the biochemistry of 55 years old guy. Can you just explain to me what is going on? Is this sexual exhaustion?

ANSWER
The symptoms listed are usually indicative of a moderate case of Sexual Exhaustion.

The excessive hypothalamic-adrenal dopamine-norepinephrine conversion and the resulting inflammatory response for heightened prostaglandin E2, histamine, and prolactin levels will usually lead to this fight or flight premature ejaculation or even inability to sustain an erection.

The chances are that your prostate and urethral tract have been abraded and over-stimulated by norepinephrine, histamine and prostaglandin E2 for tissue inflammation and lack of elasticity, combined with the forceful contractions upon orgasm. The excessive histamine, norepinephrine and prostaglandin E2 also led to penile hypersensitivity.

As for the headaches accompanied with ear buzzing and sound sensitivity: The faulty modulation on inflammatory and excitatory response will result in excessive glutamate, histamine, norepinephrine, and prostaglandin E2 in your brain. The excessive glutamate and norepinephrine and the norepinephrine induced prostaglandin E2 will excite your visual and hearing nerves.

In addition to burning out your proper cholinergic, serotonin, and GABA nervous functions, you’re experiencing the ill effects of partially locked hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis for less androgens. All this combined with the inflammatory arterial constriction and narrowness in brain and testicle blood vessels will result in a vicious cycle of inflammation and lowered androgens. In the more severe cases one usually experiences hot flashes and over-sweating, too.

Without sufficient hGH, DHEA, testosterone, DHT and neurochemicalss, your seminal production will degenerate, resulting in watery ejaculation.

Hi, I am a 26 yr old male and I just wanted to get your opinion as to if you think i may have sexual exhaustion. My symptoms are low sex drive, weak and infrequent erections, no morning erection, and varying testosterone levels (2 failed tests and 3 passing, the highest 600).
I began to feel the symptoms two years ago, after about a year of a bad habit of over indulgence in sex and excessive masturbation (often mixed with marijuana and/or alcohol). I had recently broken up with a girl i had been heavily involved with (physically and emotionally) for seven years and found it hard to cope, especially when i felt sexual urges arise. I thought it would be easy for me to get over the break up if i literally drained my body until my libido was low. It worked, to say the least, but unfortunately i cannot restore my sex-drive after nearly 3 years. I have been to urologists and male sexual dysfunction specialists and neither can pin point what is causing my symptoms. I have not been prescribed any medications (trt etc) and take zinc and l-arginine daily) I have been clean off alcohol and marijuana for well over a year, i exercise regularly and am in good physical shape, but my sex drive is still gone and erections are still weak. I am desperate to resolve this problem and move forward with my life, is there any suggestions you have for me? Products or behavior, like sexual abstinence for a long time? Should i be requesting any tests to be taken by a doctor or specialist (serotonine level etc)? I am afraid i may have permanently damaged my body beyond the point of repair. Do you think there is any hope of recovery for me? Thank you for you time.

ANSWER
I’m sorry to hear about your problems, especially since they could have been avoided with little information on the matter.

Indeed, sexual exhaustion is the most probable cause for the symptoms you describe.
The low sex drive, weak erections, lack of morning erections and low testosterone are a clear indication of a faulty working hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis. Excessive dopamine-norepinephrine epinephrine conversions, excessive androgens burning and testosterone-dht conversions, excessive neurostransmitters burning, and excessive inflammatory response are all common for over active sexual activities. The processes will eventually lock in an ill inflammatory cycle and alter ones neuroplasticity, thus sustaining the condition indefinitely if not addressed properly.

It is unlikely that just a random set of supplements, in this case zing and L-arginin, will be enough to break the cycle.

Blood tests are usually inconclusive and have to be performed numerous times. However, it should be relatively easy and you may consider testing your prolactin, estradiol, free and total testosterone, DHEA, cortisol, TSH, T3 Free (FT3), T4 Free (FT4), Glucose, Protein, Albumin, Globulin, AST (SGOT), ALT (SGPT), Bilirubin, Triglycerides, Phosphorus, Calcium, Creatinine, HDL, and Glycohemoglobin.

A complete recovery is usually very possible.
– Sexual abstinence for 2 to 4 weeks.
– A combination of Alpha-Amino, Multi-Alpha, Alpha-AGH, Zeolite-DA, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will better nervous and endocrine functioning, stabilize acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, GABA levels, detoxify the overburdened liver and better P450 system, modulate inflammatory response, better hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular functioning, increase androgens, jump start the CNS, increase prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide production, alter numerous gene expressions, and restore a positive neuroplasticity.
– Testicular cooling (uBreeze) will prove to be effective in additionally increasing androgens.
– Positive ion exposure, exercise program, positive attitude, massages, or even yoga may aid the recovery process.
Glad if I could help!

I started masturbating very early when Iwas 8 and experienced horrible anxiety and premature ejaculation at my 20ties of which I never fully recovered.I must say that this combination is a psych-killer because I’m anxious to make sex with a woman because I’m anxious generally and because I know I know I can’t satisfy her with my PE symptoms.
I found your site 3 months ago and I should have probably asked for advice before started taking your medications but I was too anxious to expect an email and the thought of it would have freaked me out every time I was about to check it. You see how bad it was at the time, so I started taking Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, GRB6-GABA, Griffonia simplicifolia – 5HTP and Ultra-Purified-FishOil since I saw you recommending it to cases similar to mine.

I must say this combination did fix my premature ejaculation and anxiety to let’s put it about 70% degree. Don’t get me wrong I’m getting better every day so hopefully I will recover fully. But then I’m still experiencing low libido and I think it’s gotten even lower, pretty much this is why i’m writing to you. Is it normal? How do I unlock the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis you talk about if it’s been locked??? What should I do doctor??

I thank you for everything!
J.M.

ANSWER
Early sexual self-abuse is extremely harmful for ones overall development through puberty and usually results in long-term consequences if not addressed properly and in a timely manner.

The lowered libido you’re experiencing is to be expected. I’m not sure which cases you’re referring to but this combination is considered the proper one for the initial phase of recovery until proper Serotonin-GABA nervous modulation on inflammatory response has been restored.

Upon proper full nervous modulation restoration you should slowly discontinue 5HTP-Nettle and GRB6-GABA. You should then add Alpha-AGH for androgens levels boost while at the same time you’ve ensured you won’t be experiencing any PSAS related symptoms and risking any relapse. It’s usually how this works and what I recommend in similar cases.

After symptom improvement is observed you may want to consider uBreeze to additionally increase androgens. Stronger erections will actually result in prolonged act through the slight penile numbing effect.

Glad if I could help!

I am 54 and I have a BSc in Biochemistry and so I am able to ingest most of what is written within these explanations of various sexual problems.

I am on SSRIs and have been for years now and of course, I suffer somewhat from a depressed libido as expected but what I have read here about this process and the indicated permanent damage to the brain’s pathways which can result, I now find myself somewhat concerned. I have over the years tried to wean off of SSRIs but found I simply cannot, which is depressing in itself. Is there any reassurance for someone in my condition..??? Also, I might add that I have always been very sexually active from an early age and wonder now if this conduct has by itself, caused additional problems, as in possibly being linked to the depression and anxiety issues I now suffer from in these later years..???

Your thoughts on these matters would be most appreciated.

Sincerely,
Ron Hicks.

ANSWER
Ron,
It is unfortunate that the “healing” properties of the SSRIs and high remission rates are frequently a result of a newly developed neuroplasticity for abnormal neurostransmitter neuronal interconnections and functioning. Numerous symptoms and issues may occur through and after the usage of SSRIs and SNRIs.

“Is there any reassurance for someone in my condition..???”

Yes, however, you would have to eventually discontinue SSRIs usage. The unfortunate fact is that many patients who developed forms of erectile dysfunction as a result of a chronic SSRIs or SNRIs usage do not fully recover(about 20 to 25%). However, even so, satisfactory results are more than achievable.

“Also, I might add that I have always been very sexually active from an early age and wonder now if this conduct has by itself, caused additional problems, as in possibly being linked to the depression and anxiety issues I now suffer from in these later years”

It’s a possibility.

Glad if I could help!

I’m definitely suffering from sexual exhaustion due to overmasturbation. I am currently 17 and I started masturbating when I was 12, sometimes daily, and sometimes multiple times per day. The symptoms I’ve noticed are: mild headaches after ejaculation, tiredness, half inch receding of the hairline, less libido, lower back pains, small semen volume, weak erection, firm flaccid state, faster heartbeat (around 74 beats per minute), difficulty going to sleep, and excessive sweating- about half the symptoms on your list… Lately I’ve ejaculated 1-2 times per week with slight improvement, but the symptoms still persist.

I plan to order your supplements as soon as I can (it may be a couple months), if I am not too young; in the meantime, I am getting 4 servings of fruit (OJ, apples, and bananas mostly) and taking 1200mg supplements of fish oil (bought at a regular pharmacy) per day. Are these good practices during the recovery period? Is there anything else I can add in order to foster healthy recovery, such as other store bought supplements, or other diet adjustments?

Also, is it possible to make a complete recovery with these symptoms? What part does my age play in this? I understand that I’ll have to limit ejaculation to around 1-2 times per month. If recovery is possible, can it be done within a couple year’s time?

Thanks for your time and advice.

ANSWER
Hello,
The symptoms described are frequently indicative of sexual exhaustion. The headaches after ejaculation, as well as the difficulty going to sleep are due to heightened norepinephrine, epinephrine, cortisol, and prostaglandin E2 levels, as well as improper levels of serotonin and GABA. The tiredness, low libido, small semen volume, and weak erections are due to improper hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular functioning for less androgens to power sexual activities, as well as improper dopamine-prolactin ratio. The sweating and lower back pains are present as a result of excessive stress and inflammatory response.

“Are these good practices during the recovery period?”

Yes, the practices described will help your organism restore the homeostasis. Should consult dietologist for exact diet planning. However, it is important to avoid any: milk with prostaglandin E2 analogs, much red meat, refined sugar, and fructose.

“Also, is it possible to make a complete recovery with these symptoms? What part does my age play in this? I understand that I’ll have to limit ejaculation to around 1-2 times per month. If recovery is possible, can it be done within a couple year’s time?”

Yes, it is possible. The younger, the greater the capacity of an organism to recover of any damage. Yes, in the particular case, a year (or even less) may prove to be sufficient for a full recovery.

Regular exercise, negative ion exposure, positive affirmations, and massages will also prove beneficial.

I don’t know if its a chemical imbalance or what but my sex drive(libido) is low and I feel if I get libido back up my erections will be strong again

A MONTH LATER
I noticed.I find it almost impossible to get an erection standing up, however its OK when I’m sitting down in my computer chair position and watching erotic material. But my erection will always die quickly if i don’t continue CONSTANT stimulation when masturbating, it will then return to a hard flaccid state, then eventually a little softer. the hard flaccid state seem to make my flaccid state smaller then it was before.

I have cut out masturbation but get scared if I keep it off that my penis hypothalamic- pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis, will lock out so I do it once after every 8 or 9 days. I have been taking chinese herbs that are specialized for over masturbation like your products for about 2 weeks, I notice my moods, abdomen pains, and etc have gone, but still have the hard flaccid state. recently I been feeling more warmness in flaccid state and it has loosen some but its rubbery now. & also my libido is gone . I also noticed my farts or bowl movements aren’t as strong as they used to be. I just started a wonderful long distance relationship with a girl and we are getting closer and planning on moving in I just want to be my normal self again.

I have been doing meditation healing & positive affirmation, I just want this to be over. I will never go down this path again

ANSWER
Yes, the lack of libido and erection power are probably a result of improper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis functioning for less androgens, as well as improper neurotransmitter levels for low dopamine and heightened prolactin. The fact that you achieve stronger erections while sitting on a chair supports the upper presumptions, since it is usually a sign of not enough free neurochemicals to support proper sexual functioning and the heightened demand of tissues of the lower body when in upright position. The blood vessels constrict when standing, so it may contribute to the condition. One should be careful not to damage the penis, since in the exhaustion state there are usually not enough androgens, prostaglandin E1 and Nitric Oxide to support the health of the penile tissues.

It will take some time for a proper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis functioning restoration, since it is usually necessary to restore proper acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and GABA balance and nervous modulation. I can not comment the products you’re using, however, it is extremely important that every aspect and issue are addressed properly for positive neuroplasticity restoration and negative feedback reactions avoidance.

Glad if I could help!

During this time i had gone into a deep depression/stress and anxiety which started to bring on serious physical symptoms, impacting my sexual function greatly. I had begun to feel very low in energy, brain fog, lack of libido, weak erections, lack of morning erections, watery semen, testicle pains along with gradual shrinkage of my testicles, loss of muscles and strength, back pains. After it was revealed that i did not have cancer, my symptoms persisted, getting even worse! After sometime i finally relocated and got health insurance through my job, and was finally able to see a doctor and get some blood tests done, testing my testosterone. The Doctor that i had seen put me on an anti-depressant called Cymbalta which i took for about a month until i could not take it anymore. It made all of my symptoms much much worse. I had gotten a girlfriend at that same time and start to become sexual active again, but while i was on the medication,it prevented me from orgasming. I had only taken the medication for a month before stopping cold turkey(which may have been a big no no from my part), but ever since then my sexual function had gotten worse, but i have made some improvements. It has not been one year since i have been off them but i still have symptoms that i cannot shake. I am very aware of sexual exhaustion, which i do not believe i have because i never over masturbated, but i seem to share all the symptoms of it. Whenever i orgasms, i get very very tired and irritated feeling, my eyes feel like they are buring, and my knees feel weak and sore. After researching on the web i feel as those i am suffering from Low Dopamine, and have no idea how to fix myself, hoping i am not permanently damaged, my testicles have decreased in size during all of this and that worries me a lot. I have no been very successful abstaining from sexual activity, but feel an improvement whenever i had tried. I am looking for advice in what i should do to help myself, and i am hoping that there is a chance i can feel normal again. I had tried exercising which helps a little bit but not much. I take a multivitamin daily, along with ginkgo biloba, vitamind D, and every night before bed i take zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6. On my most recent bloodwork i had done it show that my prolactin was at 16.2ng/ml (range 3.7-17.90), and that was after i had abstained from ejaculation for over a week! These are the full results from that test.

Test Result Reference Range
Testosterone, Total 684 mg/dl 250-1100
SHBG 40 nmol/l 7-49
Testosterone Bioavailable 177.4 mg/dl 110.0-575.0
Albumin, Serum 4.8 g/dl 3.6-5.1
Testosterone, Free 81.1 pg/ml 46.0-224.0
AM Cortisol 17.1 mcg/dl 5.0-22.0
T4 Free 0.94 ng/dl 0.76-1.76
TSH 1.74 uIU/ml 0.350-5.500
Prolactin 16.2 ng/ml 3.7-17.90
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, I am lost!

ANSWER
I’m sorry to hear of you problems, especially that they persisted so long, since they could have been addressed properly much earlier.

Most of cases of sexual exhaustion as a result of of excessive sexual activities, however, sexual exhaustion can be a result of anything that may affect certain neurotransmitters, hormones, and bodily reactions.
The stressful times you’ve gone through increased stress and inflammatory response and gradually altered nervous modulation on inflammatory response (highly dependent on proper serotonin, GABA, dopamine, and acetylcholine levels), which resulted in a vicious cycle for excessive epinephrine, norepinephrine, cortisol, histamine, glutamate, and prostaglandin E2. The cycle of inflammation is usually self supporting through:

-Lowered acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, and GABA levels which will eventually lead to internal stress and inflammation response.
-Adrenal gland adjustments to chronically create more stress and inflammatory hormones, such as cortisol and epinephrine, and lowered DHEA.
-Artery constriction for less blood flow and thus increased local inflammation.
-The increased levels of cortisol, prostaglandin E2, norepinephrine, epinephrine, and especially prolactin will negatively affect the levels of GnRH, LH and FSH, and together with the arterial inflammation and constriction will burden testicular function as well as hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis’ proper functioning. Less androgens to modulate inflammatory response, testicular tissue health, insulin resistance, energy levels, tissue and testicular health, proper nts. and hormonal conversions, and neurotransmitter homeostasis will result in even greater cycles of inflammation to suppress them even further through low dopamine levels and chronically high prolactin. The overactive sexual activities will slowly drain the organism of its potential for rejuvenation.

The antidepressant drugs are usually prescribed in similar situations (carrying serious health risks) addressing just some of the symptoms and completely neglecting the root of the problem. It is a good thing you discontinued the usage of the drug.

The blood work presented is indicative of heightened inflammatory response. Usually, one of both manifestations and causes, as you suspected, is weak dopaminergic functioning.

The irritation, weak and stiff joints, as well as eye irritations are mainly a result of excessive sympathethic epinephrine response, as well as inflammatory prostaglandin E2 and cortisol.

One must transform the neuroplasticity to a positive one. The inter neuronal connections have been developed and ordered to process information in a specific manner. You may experience severe difficulties in rewriting their work to induce proper (by what you consider a proper response) responses in certain situations.
Every problem must be addressed simultaneously to avoid negative feedback mechanisms. That is why just a random set of supplements may prove to be ineffective.

For the specific case, a combination of Alpha-Amino, Multi-Alpha, Zeolite-DA, Alpha-AGH, 5HTP-Nettle, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will better nervous and endocrine functioning, detoxify the liver and restore its P450 system functioning, restore proper acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, and GABA levels, better hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular functioning, increase androgens, lower inflammatory response and prolactin levels, jump start the CNS, increase prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide, alter numerous gene expressions, and finally rewrite the negative neuroplasticity developed.

Testicle cooling to additionally increase androgens is to be considered as well.

Light exercise, negative ion exposure, massages, positive attitude, sexual abstinence for 2 to 4 weeks, and proper diet may also aid the recovery process.

Glad if I could help!

The symptoms that you describe in your sexual exhaustion article are identical to many of the symptoms I have felt for the last 13 years, I am now 33. I have severe chronic pain in my joints and soft tissue, I have low libido and suffer from sexual exhaustion after sex, fatigue, frequent urination, brain fog, sometime difficulty with balance and even twitching or shaking. You mention in your article what needs to be fixed in order to repair these symptoms (see below) but I would like to know exactly what to do. No one has ever been able to help me and things just seem to get worse.

‘The solution is to help your neuro-endocrine function and stabilize your serotonin and GABA nervous modulation on the Fight or Flight responses. You must also recharge your parasympathetic nervous system and boost your prostaglandin E-1 , E-3, oxytocin and Nitric Oxide production for healing’.

Thanks
Thomas

ANSWER
Thomas,
Yes, the symptoms you describe are frequently associated with sexual exhaustion. The chronically abnormal acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, and GABA levels, as well as weakened modulation on inflammatory response for excessive epinephrine, norepinephrine, cortisol, histamine, glutamate, and prostaglandin E2 levels are in the root of every problem described. Chronically observed excessive inflammatory response is a self supporting condition that has to be broken by addressing every problem to avoid negative feedback reactions.

To answer your question:
It differs, there are numerous phases of sexual exhaustion. By the symptoms described I would say that you suffer from a moderate case of sexual exhaustion. The low libido and exhaustion after sex is a direct indication of heightened prolactin levels, as well as borderline androgens, which is frequently indicative of abnormal hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis and mainly dopamine abnormalities. The brain fog, twitching, and shaking is indicative of severe abnormalities in acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, and GABA levels, as well as heightened inflammatory response. The frequent urination is most probably a case of inflamed of enlarged prostate as a result of excessive testosterone-DHT conversions, or/and poor blood flow and artery constriction in the area.

In the specific case, a combination of Alpha-Amino, GRB6-GABA, 5HTP-Nettle, Multi-Alpha, Alpha-AGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will better nervous and endocrine functioning, stabilize acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, and GABA levels, aid serotonin-GABA modulation on inflammatory response for proper epinephrine, norepinephrine, histamine, glutamate, cortisol, and prostaglandin E2 levels, better hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis functioning, increase androgens, lower prolactin and stabilize libido, jump start the CNS, increase prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide levels, alter numerous gene expressions, and rewrite the negative neuroplasticity developed with the years.

You may also consider solutions to additionally increase androgens.

There are also numerous activities and lifestyle changes that may aid the recovery process, such as: exercise, proper diet, positive attitude, negative ion exposure, massages, and sexual abstinence for 2 to 4 weeks.

Glad if I could help!

I just got my blood work back, wondering what you think about it. My problems are I cannot maintain my erection without stimulation for longer than 5 sec’s, No libido, sometimes problems getting an erection. I masturbated heavily for 11 yrs with an escalating porn addiction.

TSH 2.5 first test, 2.7 second test RANGE: .38-5.5
FSH 10.8 RANGE: <10
LH 5.7 RANGE: <10
Prolactin 11 RANGE: <15
Cortisol 643 RANGE: 140-690
Estradiol 168 first test, Test 26 first test, 21 second test RANGE: 10-30
Free TEst 546 RANGE: 200-800
IGF1 409 RANGE: 151-358

ANSWER
Similar blood works are usually inconclusive.

I would say that there isn’t anything in particular that is indicative of any disorder (not that is strongly expected). However, a mild inflammatory process seems to be ongoing with the heightened Cortisol and IGF1 levels, but again, can’t use the results for any significant conclusions.

The lack of libido and erection power should be easily addressed.

Hey Dr. Richards, same kinda thing going on as previous posts. I’m 17 for one and this freaks me out a lot! This hard flaccid thing started in December 2009, I have no idea how, possible form working out wrong or masturbating to roughly? I also go circumcised 3 weeks ago, which had no affect on anything, just thought id throw that in there. This doesn’t seem as bad as any of the other cases, everything actually seems normal, it just goes to the “hard flaccid state” when i think about it or get stressed but other than that its just like it used to be, but the veins on the side of my penis are a little bit bigger than they used to be. I also have no problem getting and maintaining an erection. I haven’t masturbated for 3 weeks except twice this past week, i think things are very slowly getting better.

But i don’t ever want this to come back, i want to completely get rid of this for good. What should i do to heal this. I saw some of your replies about taking certain medication. What should i do, and is there any chance that this will never go away?

ANSWER
Yes, frequently one may experience the firm flaccid condition even without any traumatic event. It is usually due to lack of sufficient androgens, nitric oxide, and/or just artery constriction due to inflammatory processes. However, if that is the case there is a high probability that even with a simple masturbation
a damage may occur that will additionally worsen the condition, inflame the tissues and veins nearby. So one has to be careful.

However, even without any scar tissue or damage the treatment is similar, one should increase local elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3, Nitric Oxide, and androgens that are responsible for penile tissue health and proper erections.
Alpha-Amino, Alpha-AGH, Multi-Alpha, Ultra-Purified-FishOil will better the nervous and endocrine functioning, increase androgens levels through the hypothalamic- pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis, stabilize inflammatory response, increase prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide.

In addition SR-Cream will be extremely beneficial in increasing the levels of prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide locally.

Also, testicle cooling may prove to be effective in additionally addressing the condition by increasing androgens.
One to two month should give the boost needed and alter the negative neuroplasticity developed through the years.
Glad if I could help!

UPDATE
sorry i haven’t repied sooner, back when i did masturbate with this condition it didn’t make it worse, it just didn’t make it get any better, so hopefully nothing can make it any worse.

A few more questions:

Is a pain on the left side of my penis normal? it only happens once for about 2 seconds every few days

Do you think i can get this to go away for good and get things back to normal? This problem has caused to much stress and I’m way to young for this!

I don’t think I’ve had it as long as other guys on here so I’m confident you can help me beat this thing!
thanks again!

ANSWER

“Is a pain on the left side of my penis normal? it only happens once for about 2 seconds every few days”

I assume it is a sharp pain? It should not be dangerous.

“Do you think i can get this to go away for good and get things back to normal?”

Yes, it is completely possible.

Please, I should be the one to apologize for the late reply!

Glad if I could help!

UPDATE
I went to the urologist today and explained to him this whole hard flaccid penis, just like most he has no idea what it is, i show him what you wrote about trying Alpha-Amino, Alpha-HGH etc. surprisingly he didn’t know what those were. He thinks using anything would mess around with libido, erections, and hormones/testosterone… but if he didn’t know what all those were how can he tell what it would do, the stuff you listed is to help make this hard flaccid thing go away right?

I’m hoping my family doctor will know what all those medications are, but if he doesn’t, where can i find Alpha-Amino, Alpha-HGH, Multi-Alpha, Ultra-Purified-FishOil and VE-Cream? Will i need a prescription for any? And this doesn’t do anything to hormones/libido/erections like he thinks does it?

Thanks again

ANSWER
I’m surprised he did not have an idea what the products were, since the ingredients and the intended use is written. The products are not a prescription drugs – they are specially developed supplements, that when used together will very effectively address numerous issues. Can be purchased online, or pre-ordered and taken personally from one of our third party provider warehouses and stores (for this feature should contact the site administrator personally).

“And this doesnt do anything to hormones/libido/erections like he thinks does it?”

Actually they do – will usually restore the homeostasis in a safe manner. May better your erection power and libido.

UPDATE
i must’ve fallen asleep in sex-ed cause i have forgotten what libido is haha, i also forgot to say, I’ve read what other guys with the hard flaccid thing’s symptoms are like, i actually have no problem getting or maintaining an erection at all. I get them like ive always been able to, they just have the enlarged veins like it does when I’m flaccid.
It must be fairly easy to get rid of this since i have had no problem with that?

i also read on other posts that taking all this stuff may cause a itchy/burning feeling?
I feel an itchy/kind of burning feeling sometimes, could it just be my scar from my circumcision healing or do you think even though i haven’t taken any of the stuff you listed, this thing actually started going away?

i always think of more of these afterwards… i got quite a few questions here…
That pain i mention earlier, it is a sharp pain once and a while and its at the base of the left vein on my penis, could the hard flaccid thing be causing a varicose or thrombosed vein? The big vein on the left and right side of my penis have become a bit bigger and I’m guessing this is because of the hard flaccid… and the tiny veins on my penis have become darker in color and very noticeable. Is this a symptom of hard flaccid and will taking the supplements help get rid of them?

How much/often should i use/take each of the medication u listed? and how long? Also, should i stop having sex/masturbating? and for how long?

How long will it take to get rid of this condition?

And i still get rock-hard erections like I’ve always been able to, none of the supplements are for making strong erections are they, because i don’t wanna cause stress down there lol

I also noticed you told some guys with hard flaccid to use SR cream i think it is, whats the difference between that and the SR cream u told me to use?

And these questions are just to ease my paranoia…

That sharp pain i get once and a while is always in the same place, around the left vein on my penis, is it possible the vein will just cut off circulation or swell rapidly? I over-react and feel as if my penis is just going to die.

If i do get rid of this, will it come back if i masturbate of have sex in the future?

And have you seen/heard of anyone overcoming this condition?

I’ve been really bothered by this today, but I’m hoping that since my erections haven’t really been affected that i can actually get rid of this thing. I just want this to go away and get my life back

Sorry for the question overload but i just had to get some of these off my mind

ANSWER
It must be fairly easy to get rid of this since i have had no problem with that?

Well, it depends if the enlarged veins are varicosed or not. However, bare in mind that enlarged penile veins will probably eventually become varicosed through the blood stretching and harming the valves and vein walls.

“i also read on other posts that taking all this stuff may cause a itchy/burning feeling?

Yes, it is possible that it is healing on its own. A human organism is always healing on its own. What we do is just aid it, send it in a proper direction, and speed up the recovery.

“i always think of more of these afterwards… i got quite a few questions here…

Faulty working veins will lead to hard flaccid state. The supplements are a strong healing agents and will aid the recovery of veins, arteries, tissues for proper penile functioning restoration.

“How much/often should i use/take each of the medication u listed? and how long? Also, should i stop having sex/masturbating? and for how long?
And have you seen/heard of anyone overcoming this condition?”

It depends, however, the a full recovery is usually observed in 2 to 6 months.

Yes, sexual activities discontinuation for 2 to 4 weeks will aid the recovery process.
Actually they will aid the erection quality, yes.

SR-Cream is more aggressively increasing prostaglandin E1 for healing and scar dissolution, it is designed for moderate cases of collagen scarrings.

One vein can’t cut off the penile circulation completely so the penile tissues won’t suffer a great deal of damage. The vein itself and nearby tissues may swell.

No, once healed the problem won’t persist. Unless there is a recurrent damage.
