I am in my mid 30’s and have been suffering from some symptoms that have caused me much stress for over 12 years, possibly longer.

Flaccid penis has almost no feeling/shrunken/large vein running down the top of shaft. Very rarely wake up with an erection. Can have sex but only once and then no desire to again. This is with my long term partner or other partners I have had

Also have other symptoms that might be related

Eye floaters, light sensitivity, red eye lids, face skin problems intermittent redness.
Wake up after 8 hrs sleep sometimes feeling exhausted. Feelings of no enjoyment from time to time

I have seen many doctors including neurological/nephrology/urology/endocrine all have reported no clinical reasons for these disturbing symptoms.

I have slightly raised creatinine and prolactin but both specialist say this isn’t the reason.

I exercise regularly, weight training, I est a balanced diet so just don’t understand what has happened to me.

I welcome any advice you have for me, as I’m quite desperate at this stage. I’ve noticed on your forum people suggesting things ranging from fish oil to 5htp to l-arginine??

Many thanks

ANSWER
Hello,

Similar complaints are usually indicative of a sexual exhaustion-related penile damage. The symptoms you describe are usually indicative of a mild to moderate stage of sexual exhaustion.

Exhausted individuals usually have a notably heightened chance of injuring their penis through the weakened nervous modulation on inflammatory response and impaired proper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis functioning for lowered androgens. Androgen levels are considered crucial to penile tissues health and integrity. Prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide local tissue levels are usually low as well, given that you experience loss of erectile capability and sensitivity.

What probably happened here was you sexually exhausted yourself at one point and never really recovered. You then sustained penile injury which, by your presentation of the case, seems to have been uneventful (not uncommon with exhaustion influenced injuries) and went unnoticed for a period of time before you noticed the mentioned subsequent abnormalities, such as: varicose veins and lack of sensitivity. You do not seem to report any severe shape abnormalities, tilting, or inflammation, which is usually indicative of a milder case (but still sufficiently impacting enough to influence corpus spongiosum’s sealing mechanism for varicose veins).

I have seen many doctors including neurological/nephrology/urology/endocrine all have reported no clinical reasons for these disturbing symptoms.

This is not uncommon with the milder uneventful injuries that were gradual enough so that no hematoma or severe scarring was left and only partially affected a given penile tissue layer. Similar tissue inconsistencies are usually difficult to detect since there are no traces of a specific injury spot.

I welcome any advice you have for me, as I’m quite desperate at this stage. I’ve noticed on your forum people suggesting things ranging from fish oil to 5htp to l’arginine??

That is correct. I usually recommend a wide range of practices based on the specific case. For instance, I used to recommend 5HTP and even GRB6-GABA for cases where I suspected a continuous and excessive inflammatory response and weakened serotonin-GABA nervous modulation. However, the latest SR-Cream modification is particularly effective with local inflammatory responses so the need of 5HTP and GRB6-GABA has diminished after its launch.

The best way to address the issue purely on a local tissue level would be utilizing a combination of SR-Cream, vitamin E cream, light tissue massages, and hot-cold temperature alteration. This combination is usually very effective in dissolving any mild collagen tissue scarrings and increasing elasticity prostaglandins E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide for healing.

Naturally, to address the issue in a more complete manner, speed up the recovery and avoid the same happening again, you may consider a combination of Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-HGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil. It will stabilize neuroendocrine functioning, increase prostaglandins E1 E3, Nitric Oxide, and androgen levels. It’s usually very effective with most of the symptoms of sexual exhaustion that are related to lowered androgens, safe from the serotonin-GABA nervous modulation.

About 10 years ago, I took an SSRI antidepressant called Luvox for OCD. I was on it for about 8 months. While I was taking this drug I found it difficult to ejaculate, and during one masturbation session that went on for probably 3 or 4 hours, I became kind of rough, and I lost sensation in my penis. Immediately afterward, the skin on the shaft of my flacid penis became wrinkly, and my flacid penis was smaller than usual. To this day the skin on the shaft is sort of pushed back and there appears to be a small bump or protrusion under the skin, on the shaft, just before the head. (I think this what is what pushes back the skin and causes it to wrinkle, but I could be wrong). Also, when I am erect, I feel a nerve or blood vessel along the right side of the shaft that runs almost the entire length of my penis. It protrudes very slightly through the skin. I can actually feel my pulse if I rest my finger on it. I also have some varicose veins on the shaft.

I am sure from reading the website that I am sexually exhausted. I am no longer taking any prescription drugs. I don’t use street drugs, but I do drink on occasion (maybe once a month)

The one thing I am optimistic about is that I can still get solid erections, and I also get natural erections while I sleep and when I wake up in the morning. I am able to masturbate myself to ejaculation. I JUST CAN’T FEEL ANYTHING. THERE IS NO SENSATION AT ALL.

Questions

1) Based upon what I have described, does it sound to you like the injuries can be corrected? If they can’t, I would rather you just tell me. I don’t want to spend money for products if there is no hope. I’ll just have to accept that it isn’t gonna work out.

2) Do you think sensation can be restored just using the tablets or capsules that are sold on the website without using the SR Cream? (I think I might find it hard to limit my ejaculation frequency to 1 time per week if I were doing daily massages).

3) If you think my problems can be corrected, please tell me exactly what to do, and how long you think it would take to heal the damaged nerves

Feel free to ask any more questions if you need more info, and once again, thank you for taking the time and for your excellent website.

Message Body:
WHen applying SR cream, should you have a full erection? or a half erection? or no erection at all? Do you put it right where you think the collagen scar is? or do you apply it someplace else?

thank you

Hello,

What you’re describing is actually a relatively common occurrence. Let me break it down for the sake of convenience:

About 10 years ago, I took an SSRI antidepressant called Luvox for OCD. I was on it for about 8 months. While I was taking this drug I found it difficult to ejaculate, and during one masturbation session that went on for probably 3 or 4 hours, I became kind of rough, and I lost sensation in my penis.

Yes, a loss of penile sensitivity / delayed ejaculation is really common with SSRIs / SNRIs. It can get notably worse if one experiences temporary lack of free and available androgens in the blood. For instance, it could even happen from exercise / training / overtraining. You may want to take a look here as well: https://cure-erectile-dysfunction.org/antidepressants-and-sexual-function . All in all, I’d say that SSRIs / SNRIs increase the chance of penile injuries by at least 20 to 30% by directly influencing major hormones, neurohormones, and neurotransmitters.

Immediately afterward, the skin on the shaft of my flacid penis became wrinkly, and my flacid penis was smaller than usual. To this day the skin on the shaft is sort of pushed back and there appears to be a small bump or protrusion under the skin, on the shaft, just before the head.

It does sound like a straightforward case of corpus spongiosum damage and subsequent collagen scar tissue release.

Also, when I am erect, I feel a nerve or blood vessel along the right side of the shaft that runs almost the entire length of my penis. It protrudes very slightly through the skin. I can actually feel my pulse if I rest my finger on it. I also have some varicose veins on the shaft.

Yes, what you describe is actually common with injuries leading to one or more varicose veins. What happened is:

1.) The initial injury damaged corpus spongiosum’s tissue integrity, leading to a collagen tissue release, which in turn completely impaired proper blood vessel functioning on the whole side of the penis.

2.) A single vein (in some cases even more) became enlarged and varicose because the tissue was unable to properly pinch or contain it during erections anymore. The vein then became almost completely “stand alone”-like. You will probably notice that it is just under the skin but is not actually part of the tissue underneath anymore. In most cases you will be able to grab it separately of the tissue underneath with two finders.

3.) The damaged corpus spongiosum exposed an artery as well. It is what you’ve been feeling as a very thin yet rigid cord. Almost like a pulsating guitar string.

4.) You have also probably noticed lessened rigidity in your penile underside and glans, with the penis bending downwards around the midshaft in mid erection. In full erection it will look normal for the most part since the increased pressure will still be able to modulate the less elastic collagen tissue.
The corpora cavernosa are usually not affected at all, producing a contrast of rigidity and softness (of the glans, underside, and surrounding tissues).

5.) You experienced a loss of tissue sensitivity due to damaged local penile nerves. It is a common occurrence and most of the times completely reversible.

1) Based upon what I have described, does it sound to you like the injuries can be corrected? If they can’t, I would rather you just tell me. I don’t want to spend money for products if there is no hope. I’ll just have to accept that it isn’t gonna work out. 3) If you think my problems can be corrected, please tell me exactly what to do, and how long you think it would take to heal the damaged nerves

It is usually very reversible. As you noticed yourself, it is a condition which leaves one’s penis in a functional condition and many men don’t seek any help with it. Some men will even improve without any support, mostly in terms of sensitivity and collagen scar tissue dissolution. However, there are a lot of things that can be done to restore the tissues to their original state.

In fact, SR-Cream has been designed for this exact purpose in mind. The first step would be to dissolve any internal collagen tissue by reducing any ongoing minor inflammation (you may frequently notice it after masturbation), and increasing elasticity prostaglandins E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide for tissue healing and restoration.

With the restoration of original tissue elasticity and health, the varicose vein will significantly lessen in size and start functioning almost normally. Regrettably, to this point we’ve been unable to completely integrate the vein back into the restored tunica albuginea.
The cream will also address injuries inside the vein itself.

Other than that, you should also consider some basic practices that are by now proven to help, such as:

– Gentle tissue massages.
– Cold and hot wraps. Best done in the shower with cold and hot water alteration in 2 – 3 minute periods.
– Additional vitamin E cream applied topically.
– Healing visualization. Here particularly helpful would be: https://yourhealingmind.org/product/heal-your-penis , as we’ve noticed that guided imagery healing frequently produces results even beyond conventional medicine expectations.

2) Do you think sensation can be restored just using the tablets or capsules that are sold on the website without using the SR Cream? (I think I might find it hard to limit my ejaculation frequency to 1 time per week if I were doing daily massages).

Yes, I believe that it is possible to be almost completely restored even without them. You’d just need to improve your lifestyle in general to increase your androgens levels. Masturbation is to be avoided, though, as it is usually sustaining minor levels of inflammation and is impairing nocturnal nervous tissue regeneration.

Of course, a combination of Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-HGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will definitely prove to be beneficial in that regard.

When applying SR cream, should you have a full erection? or a half erection? or no erection at all?

We have not noticed any significant statistical alteration based on that variable, so you may want to individually go for whatever you feel is producing best results.

Do you put it right where you think the collagen scar is? or do you apply it someplace else?

I’d suggest applying a thin layer on the whole penis with double the amount on the affected spot. The mentioned approach has been shown to lead to best results.

UPDATE
Thank you for the thorough response. One more quick question. I have noted the websites ‘ejaculation frequency’ guidelines. When attempting to heal an injury, is it best to follow these guidelines, or is it better to just completely abstain from masturbation/ejaculation until healing occurs.

ANSWER
Right, I’d suggest completely ignoring and avoiding similar frequency while recovering from any form of penile injury. The best way to go is usually abstinence on a monthly basis, with a maximum range of 1 to 4 ejaculations per month.

Hi Dr. Richards, I’ve been dealing with a penis injury for about 4 1/2 months. I sustained this injury while hanging a weight of about 1 pound from my penis. I only did this one time for about a minute. I was immediately worried and tried to masturbate after to see if everything was still working. I was able to orgasm but it was no where near as powerful as it normally would be. After 3 days I went to play basketball and after I jumped and came down, I felt like a tearing sensation on the underside of my penis over the urethra where it starts going into your body. I went to the emergency room and was told i was fine without any type of scan. They didn’t think anything was torn or ruptured because i didn’t have swelling or bruising. After 2 weeks I had sex and could only feel pleasure on half of the underside of my penis. I eventually got to a urologist after a month and a half and had an MRI done and they only found that I had a indentation on my left corpora cavernosa and told me I had no tears but I feel like I can feel a tear on my corpus spongiosum. I think its supposed to be smooth from top to bottom but when it gets near the base of my penis I feel like a gap between two points. I was told everything was fine I have had a lot of pain in that area and under my pelvic floor. The pain has been getting better but I am thinking my corpus spongiosum is still torn. It completely inflates during erection but i feel a small line of space where the injury occurred. I have a small feeling of pleasure compared to how i used to be pre-injury. The doctor said the nerves where fine but I don’t think so because I would feel pleasure during masturbation or sex. Im going to another urologist because the other doctors plan of just give it time hasn’t been giving me results Ive wanted. Do you think I could still receive surgery to fix the tear if it is in fact torn? If theres anything you can tell me to help my situation, I would really appreciate it.

ANSWER
I must say it is really strange that they have found indentation affecting your corpora cavernosa but nothing related to the softer tissues of your corpus spongiosum which are usually affected in these cases (safe from the suspensory ligament). I would even go as far as stating that it is highly unlikely that your left corpus cavernosum is affected at all, taking in consideration the nature of the injury (flaccid stretching) which is known not to produce any notable pressure on the corpora cavernosa.

Of what you’re describing, I would say that you may have damaged a median bundle of your suspensory ligament or possibly your corpus spongiosum itself if it is just a bit lower down the shaft. The consistent pain you’ve been experiencing, though, is usually indicative of a corpus spongiosum related damage. However, similar tears usually undergo inflammatory processes (hematomas may also be present) and are filled with collagen scar tissue as a result. I’d say that your case is relatively rare in nature (probably 1 in 15) which may have confused your urologist.

Sensitivity alteration caused by even minor nerve damage is to be expected, as you may have noticed yourself.

“Do you think I could still receive surgery to fix the tear if it is in fact torn?”

Similar procedures are definitely possible and can be performed if a given abnormality is proven and recorded. I’d suggest taking a look at this case: http://www.nature.com/ijir/journal/v18/n2/full/3901389a.html . However, I would advise against similar procedures for at least another 3 months. Sometimes partial tears and sprains can heal by themselves.

You may want to consider trying SR-Cream to deal with any supposed inflammation and to promote increased local prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide levels for tissue healing and restoration. However, I don’t believe that it will be of much assistance in fixing the tear itself. It could dissolve any minor hematomas and prevent scar tissue formation, though.

The other thing that may be of assistance here would be guided imagery healing (https://yourhealingmind.org/product/heal-your-penis) which frequently produces results beyond current conventional medicine expectations.

UPDATE
Thank you for your response Dr. Do you have any idea how long it might take for the tear to heal? I have been avoiding physical activities such as running and sports. My penis when erect now curves slightly to the left also. I do feel the indentation on the left when flaccid but its almost undetectable when erect.
Also can i expect my nerves to heal and regain some sensation? I understand it might not be all the way back to normal but I’ve been pretty depressed with the way things have been progressing so slowly. I will try the cream, can it be applied to the whole penis? I had another injury a couple weeks after my initial injury, i masturbated to hard and it seemed like my penis from shaft to glans had blood under the surface or was bruised. After a couple days my skin began to peel off and has felt rubbery every since. Is there anything else i can do to help the recovery process of the tear? I appreciate the fast response! I will keep you updated.

Hi dr, sorry about all the messages but i was wondering why you suggest not getting it surgically repaired and to wait 3 months? Other things that i have wondered are should i be avoiding all sexual activities? The urologist said getting erections would bring it new blood but he also didnt notice the tear i have. Also i had sex a couple weeks after the injury and only felt sensation on half of the underside of my penis. Should i take that as a good sign that i at least had some sensation that i can recover some more sensation or most? Also at the first when i was injured my urine stream split into two and has since partial returned to normal except its a lot more narrow then it used to be. I appreciate Any information you have about these problems. Thank you for your help!

It’s my pleasure. Let’s get to the questions right away:

“Thank you for your response Dr. Do you have any idea how long it might take for the tear to heal?”

It’s quite individual for every case but the average for similar injuries (where partial tear / sprain is suspected) ranges from 3 to 5 months, and that is given the issue has been properly addressed.

“I have been avoiding physical activities such as running and sports. My penis when erect now curves slightly to the left also. I do feel the indentation on the left when flaccid but its almost undetectable when erect.”

It is not uncommon as a symptom. Patients with suspensory ligament injuries to the left experience the exact symptoms you describe as well. Anything that will compromise tissue integrity from one side or another results in the described respective tilting.

“Also can i expect my nerves to heal and regain some sensation?”

Definitely, it’s actually the first thing to improve, even in patients where the collagen scar tissue remains as a problem. It may take several months, though, and you must limit masturbation and similar heavy on the tissues activities.

“I will try the cream, can it be applied to the whole penis?”

Yes, it’s actually recommended to be applied in a broad manner. Of course, you’d have to use a bit more on the problematic spot itself.

“I had another injury a couple weeks after my initial injury, i masturbated to hard and it seemed like my penis from shaft to glans had blood under the surface or was bruised. After a couple days my skin began to peel off and has felt rubbery every since. Is there anything else i can do to help the recovery process of the tear?”

It sounds like a minor collagen scarring affecting outer tissue layers (the rubbery feel is very characteristic). SR-Cream will be effective but there are other things you may consider as well, such as:

– Gentle tissue massages
– Cold and hot wraps. Best done in the shower with cold and hot water alteration in 2 – 3 minute periods.
– Additional vitamin E cream applied topically.
– Healing visualization.

“Hi dr, sorry about all the messages but i was wondering why you suggest not getting it surgically repaired and to wait 3 months?”

Similar procedures are not without their risks. Any penile tissue manipulation should only be considered only when all the available non-invasive options have been proven ineffective. The condition seems stable and you’re not past the point of the statistical data concerning recoveries of similar kind, so another 3 months would be the natural thing to consider.

“Other things that i have wondered are should i be avoiding all sexual activities?”

Most definitely, the mentioned sexual activities discontinuation usually results in improved penile healing during deep sleep.

“Also i had sex a couple weeks after the injury and only felt sensation on half of the underside of my penis. Should i take that as a good sign that i at least had some sensation that i can recover some more sensation or most?”

It’s a very common symptom, actually, and usually improves dramatically in several months, that is if heavy on the local tissues activities (like masturbation) are partially avoided.

“Also at the first when i was injured my urine stream split into two and has since partial returned to normal except its a lot more narrow then it used to be”

That’s usually indicative of internal collagen tissue scarring and/or urethral damage. It’s actually a bit surprising that you are currently experiencing similar symptoms without any of the more common ones like mid-erection hourglass shape. The only explanation that comes to mind (which excludes collagen scar tissue involvement) is tissue misplacement which has not triggered any severe inflammatory processes.

UPDATE
I noticed on your website that you have recommended to some people taking certain pills that you have for sale on your website. Do you think any of those can be beneficial to me? Thank you for your help!

ANSWER
It’s a pleasure.

That is correct. I believe they can be very beneficial and it goes to my previous advice of improving general health and increasing androgens. The combination that I usually recommend and have noticed best results with in similar cases is: Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-HGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil.

I used to also recommend 5HTP-Nettle and GRB6-GABA to counter any inflammatory processes. However, the need of such has drastically diminished with the appearance of the SR-Cream.

UPDATE
Thank you dr. I will purchase them but before i do that. I have another issue ive been dealing with also. I tried some vitamin b6 pills 1 month after my injury for 1 month because i read on pegym some guys said b6 would help nervw injuries. I began having burning and tingling in my arms and legs around my mouth and having head aches. I think i have vitamin b6 toxicity and was wondering if you had any information that could help me with this also and if any of the products you are recommending me have any b6 and or anything that with aggravate my symptoms further. Thank you!

ANSWER
Taking just one vitamin (or even just a few) is often very counter-productive as it affects internal organism equilibrium too much. It’s important to keep a healthy ratio between most of the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to avoid similar occurrences. Your body can actually take extreme amounts of any given vitamin, given that it is also in a proper ratio with all the other supporting substances needed for its proper metabolization. That is why eating much of a given food won’t usually cause any toxicity or problems for a long time, even though you may be eating even higher dosages of vitamin B6 (for instance) with it.

The symptoms you described seem to be indicative of a mild vitamin b toxicity combined with hyperoxia and hyperventilation syndrome (also both very mild). B-group vitamins have been shown to affect blood oxygen levels, and while sufficient levels may actually be used to treat a said condition, going over the top usually promotes the other extreme or the reverse.

Of the supplements I mentioned, Multi-Alpha has vitamin B6 in its formula. It is, however, combined in such a way with the other vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and herbs that any toxicity happening is highly unlikely.

UPDATE
The products i was taking were off a website called herballove.com under their section for penis injuries. In total i think i was taking around 36 mg of vitamin b6 daily. There were other vitamins and b vitamins in it also. I would rather stay away from any supplements that have any b vitamins as i dont want to take the chance to make it any harder to recover from this. Do you know what i can do to help recover from these symptoms? Also do you know how long it usually take for the sr cream and visual healing to be delivered? Thanks again.

ANSWER
Right, avoiding B-group vitamins for a period of time seems to be a reasonable thing to do. I’m aware of herballove’s site and believe they sell quality products, for the most part. I don’t believe that recommending single vitamins (based on their said positive effects) without any strategy whatsoever is a sound practice, though.

Do you know what i can do to help recover from these symptoms?

Given that that’s the true cause, I’d suggest improving general lifestyle and diet, nothing too special.

Also do you know how long it usually take for the sr cream and visual healing to be delivered?

SR-Cream usually takes 2 to 4 business days for Europe and 4 to 14 business days for the rest of the world. It varies highly, though. If you’re from USA, you can expect a status update at http://usps.com 1 to 3 days before the actual delivery (upon arrival at any sorting facility, usually NY).

I suppose you are referring to “Heal your Penis” from yourhealingmind.org? That’s definitely strange. I believe it should be instantly delivered at: https://yourhealingmind.org/heal-your-penis . Could you try logging in and opening the link?

As always, be sure to keep me updated on the case.

UPDATE
I didnt take vitamin b6 by itself though, i took it in a formula they sell with herbs and many other vitamins. I just suspect its the vitamin b6 thats caused these symptoms after looking up that they can cause toxicity in some people. How long does it take for the sr cream to heal the scar tissue?

UPDATE
Hi dr. Im worried that my tear will not heal because you said some partial tears can heal themselves in 3-5 months but then told me to give it another 3 months? By partial what do you mean? I can feel a gap from side to side of the base of corpus spongiosum where it comes out of the body and a gap from one side to the other about a cm or 2 above that, with and without erection. Its like all the tissue of my spongiosum inflates and is smooth up until that point near the base and right above it and is separated. How likely is it that both those tears reattach themselves to the other tissues? Its Exactly where i felt the burning tearing sensation when i jumped. I just dont think my urologist can feel it because my penis tightens up when ive gone for a check up and does not hang loosely after the injury. I have not been examined while having an erection. Im going on to my 5th month of being like this on april 21st. I am tired of just waiting and understand this is a serious problem. I havent gotten many signs of healing except im in less pain walking around. The best outcome i see is being able to have erections but with pain in those areas and close to barely any sensation. If i find a good urologist to perform surgery do the cons out weigh the pros in this situation? Its very hard to deal with this. Any help is appreciated. I just want to figure out the best plan for recovery and get back to normal. Thank you dr.

UPDATE
Hi Dr. Im sure your busy, if you could please respond sometime soon. I have an appointment with a urologist for Tuesday. I hope im able to get him to notice the tear. I understand that degloving the penis is dangerous. Isnt there another surgical method to fix this problem since its at the bottom of the shaft close to the testicles? Maybe only making an incision in that area? I just want to know my options and if it isnt worth risking it, i will not and i will give it more time to heal naturally. If you havent responded before my appointment i will message you with what happens and what the doctor says. I appreciate all your help and advice, thank you!

ANSWER
I apologise for the late reply. Let me get to the questions right away:

I didnt take vitamin b6 by itself though, i took it in a formula they sell with herbs and many other vitamins. I just suspect its the vitamin b6 thats caused these symptoms after looking up that they can cause toxicity in some people.

It certainly makes more sense (product-wise) now that you’ve mentioned it was in a combination. I have to say that if the combination was balanced and a vitamin B6 supportive one, vitamin B6 toxicity should not have been the first thing to come to mind.

How long does it take for the sr cream to heal the scar tissue?

It’s really individual and depends on numerous factors such as androgen levels, local tissue prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide levels, the actual injury itself, genetic makeup, additional useful practices applied, age, diet, and lifestyle. However, the average of all the feedback we’ve received over the years, having combined all the cases, constantly ranges between 3 to 6 months (currently being around 117 days I believe).

Hi dr. Im worried that my tear will not heal because you said some partial tears can heal themselves in 3-5 months but then told me to give it another 3 months? By partial what do you mean?

It’s pretty straightforward really. Part of corpus spongiosum is thinned out due to basic anatomy of the penis. The tear can be considered complete (usually but not always) even if only from one of the sides if it ranges from a thinned out to a thinned out lair, meaning that it should not be able (or will be very unlikely) to heal back in place. The actual size of the gap between layers will also serve as a straightforward indicator of the severity of the tear.

It’s difficult to say without actually examining it personally. Could you send photos of it?

If i find a good urologist to perform surgery do the cons out weigh the pros in this situation? Its very hard to deal with this.

Since there is no severe inflammation or collagen scar tissue release, the condition seems stable enough. It usually means you have the option to safety wait a bit more without hindering any chances of surgical recovery. All in all, I’d say that if the condition remains unresolved the pros (surgical intervention) would outweigh the cons.

Isnt there another surgical method to fix this problem since its at the bottom of the shaft close to the testicles? Maybe only making an incision in that area.

I believe there are almost no varied surgical options for similar complaints. The intervention would still be as local as possible in nature and rather straightforward, as you can imagine.

If you havent responded before my appointment i will message you with what happens and what the doctor says. I appreciate all your help and advice, thank you!

I certainly hope I managed to answer in time. Be sure to let me know how it went.

Glad if I could help!

First of all, thanks for providing a great resource.

Around May 2010 I sustained an injury while jelqing. I felt a shooting pain, followed by the immediate loss of my erection. For a week or two after that I had pins and needles along the left side of my Cavernosa, and also on the entire glans. I also had numbness. At the time I was smoking marijuana multiple times per week. I had difficulty achieve erection, and a loss of pleasurable sensation of the penis, and orgasm. I remember the glans not filling up during erection as well (at times).

By August 2010 my erection had slowly recovered. It was almost back to normal at times. I unwisely thought a light jelqing routine would return it from about 85% normal to 100%. I did it for about two weeks. I developed an inability to get erect, and varicose veins. My penis felt a bit sore for a while. In the flaccid state it was much larger, and looser, but sort of dead. I attempted to let it heal but made little progress it seems. Viagra allows me to have a functional erection.

There is a much less degree of pleasurable sensation in my penis. The glans appear smaller, and do not get as rigid (same with spongiosum). My ejaculations no longer “shoot”. I require constant stimulation for an erection which lacks rigidity. I can also feel a sort of rice like bump, which slightly moves, about half an inch from my glans on the nunderside of the left cavernosa. Sort of like a hardened vein. Detumescense is unnaturally quick. The varicose veins appear on the skin nearest the glans, with one vein stretching along the left side of the shaft. That portion of the shaft nearest the glans also seems to have toughened up.

My hypothesis is that I had nerve injury, followed by collagen release especially after the 2 week period in August. The erection went from very functional, to completely unusable in just a 2 week period, so I do not understand how collagen formation could occur so quickly, but perhaps the original nerve injury was again inflamed.

1.) What is your opinion on my issue?
2.) Is it possible that I have caused a physical “break” in a valve or leaflet which has caused an issue only curable via surgery (embolization)?
3.) Can this be fixed? If so, how, and how long will it take?

Thanks again!
– R.
P.S. Sorry if this

ANSWER
“What is your opinion on my issue?”

I would say that the injury affected mainly tunica albuginea as well as local nerve endings, and indirectly after influenced corpus spongiosum proper functioning through the scar tissue formation. The inability of the penile tissue to seal off the penis and pinch veins properly will gradually lead to varicose veins. One may also develop varicose veins over night if there is a direct vein damage and subsequent collagen release into the vein itself.

“Is it possible that I have caused a physical “break” in a valve or leaflet which has caused an issue only curable via surgery (embolization)?”

With the symptoms described, it is highly unlikely.

“Can this be fixed? If so, how, and how long will it take?”

Yes, the condition is usually reversible. Some healthy men even heal on their own in a year or two. Such traumas should heal over time if properly addressed. Much bloodflow to the area is essential for the healing. There are several agents that will better sexual functions and are responsible for penile tissue health and integrity. A combination of Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-HGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will promote high androgen hormones and elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide for healing. A burning sensation that will later transform to itching will be experienced – a sign of the healing process that will be taking place.

SR-Cream should be applied on the base of the penis to additionally address the issue as well as possible by locally increasing prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide, so any internal hematomas or collagen scar tissue will be eventually dissolved.

Also, testicular cooling (uBreeze) will prove to be effective in additionally increasing androgens.

One will also benefit from hot wraps and baths.

Once properly addressed, a notable improvement will be observed in 1 to 2 months and a full penile functioning restoration experienced in 4 to 12 months (except for the varicose veins which will shrink and become healthy again, but remain slightly visible).

Three weeks ago I was out cycling, I was unfortunate enough to have an accident which resulted which the nose of my saddle hitting me quite hard in the perineum area. A couple of days later I noticed heavy purple bruising to the base of my penis, also I had gone into some kind of permanent semi-erect state. Embarrassing as it was I went to hospital to get myself checked. I was told swelling and bruising should go down in a week or so, my urine was tested for blood, all clear.

So a week later bruising and semi-erect state had gone. I was with a hard flaccid feeling for another week. Now for the last few days I feel soft and normal.

Although things seem to be moving in the right direction, I am unable to get an erection, maybe 50% and will loose it quickly, also seems quite vainy. In addition to this I have a constant mild ache in perineum.

I have started taking l-arginine, multi-vitamin and zma.

I know I need to see a specialist, but in the meantime could you give me any advice on what has happend, and also if there is anything I can do to help things heal and restore my erection.

I can’t go one minute without thinking about problem, so any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

ANSWER
Internal hematoma is the obvious conclusion. Similar symptoms are to be expected and it’s crucial to avoid any calcifications.

SR-Cream applied locally will dramatically increase elasticity prostagandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide for healing, collagen scar tissue dissolution and tissue restoration. Other than that, you’re on the right direction with the l-arginine, multi-vitamin and zma.

Glad if I could help!

About 12 months ago I made the mistake of trying those jelqing exercises. I did them for a few weeks and noticed some lack of sensitivity in the penis but nothing major. Then one night I decided to masturbate vigorously using the pillow sheets as an aid (‘humped the bed’). I ejaculated about 6 times that day and on the last one I felt a slight pain and then my penis shrunk up and went cold. Since then I have all of the symptoms of a jelqing injury, including:

– Firm, flaccid penis – No nocturnal or morning erections – Lack of spontaneous erections (only get one when watching porn) – Difficulty urinating/ weak urine stream – Lack of sensation in penis shaft and glans – Loss of sexual desire/libido.

I did see some improvement when I used Gingo Biloba, but they are hard to get a hold off. I still masturbate about once a week now, which is down from the 3 times a day I did for a few years before the injury. My GP is clueless and prescribed me Risperdal for the anxiety. Please Dr. Has anyone recovered from this? And is it reversible? I just want to know if there is hope for me!

Many Thanks

ANSWER
Jelqing, if not backed up with sufficient elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide levels, as well as proper androgens levels and serotonin-GABA nervous modulation on inflammatory response, will result in excessive collagen scar tissue release for an ongoing erectile dysfunction problems. Note that in a state of imbalance and heightened prostaglandin E2 levels even masturbation may result in abnormal inflammatory reaction for excessive collagen tissue release.

Retracted firm flaccid penile tissues and lost sensitivity are common. If that is the case, one may expect to observe further penile shape alterations and erection abnormalities (after several months), such as penile bending and an hourglass penile shape at 60-70% erection.

Firm flaccid penis condition and lost sensation may be contributed purely to insufficient androgens, elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3, and Nitric Oxide, even without any collagen scar tissue release. However, abnormal levels of the listed above make ones penile tissues highly succeptible to injuries of any kind (even through masturbation alone), so one may have to be quick to react.

“Has anyone recovered from this? And is it reversible?”

Yes, it is usually completely reversible. Note that varicose veins (if observed) will lessen in size and become healthy but will never fully disappear. One may even recover without any assistance through different gene expressions and individual neurohormone levels. However, the process of recovery could be significantly shortened if properly addressed.

I’m French, so sorry if my english is not perfect.

I write you to speak to you about my very severe penile damage which happened 3 years ago!

It happened when i was 25 during a sexual intercourse with my gf at top of me. She made a strong bad lateral movement while i was inside her and i felt big pain in penis. There was no blood or no hematoma. But few days after, i started to lose sensations in penis, coldness, atrophy of flaccid penis, impotence, and change of anatomy, with a torsion at left base!!

Despite all these symptoms (and that i had never had any problem there before and i was in good mental and fisical health), doctors found nothing wrong.

Finally i took some cialis and even with that it was nearly impossible to erect. I could do it only if i was lying on my back but i lost erection as soon as i was standing up. It was sensationless. I also realized i had lost penile length and there was a mild curvature on right side -the side opposite to the torsion at left base- (but not typical peyronie disease , and strangely the doctor couldn’t feel any fibrosis at curvature area).

I lived long time like that, it was very depressive, and i finally tried to heal myself by diet, supplements, chinese medicine, etc etc. I partially managed to have some improvement. I had not recovered my penile length, my good sensations from before injury, i still had the curvature (small one), but i could have sex more often with my gf, more morning erections (despite i still needed to lie on my back and it was still falling if i was standing up), and i didnt need to take cialis anymore. Even if it was not very good, it was a real improvement.

Finally, very recently, i saw a supposed to be healer’ who was a fake in fact. As i still had no sensations inside penis, and a feeling of ’empty’ penis (very light), i was advised this guy by a friend of mine. He was supposed to help penile nerves thanks to a cream. In fact, he made some movements and manipulations at the area of damage/torsion at left base. The days after, my penis totally changed of anatomy again, it became very big at flaccid, very soft, sensations were bad , with a VERY LIGHT penis (even difficult to feel i had something between the legs!!) and all the progress i had done concerning erectile mechanism were gone!!! totally impotent again, with a sort of leakage on left base. This base was maintaining better erection these last times (i think there was scar tissue there, it was bad but ‘solid’) and it’s as if this hardness had disappeared (!) after the fake’s manipulation, as if he would have broken scar tissue (is it possible??)

Now i’m like this and i cannot accept it at my age.
I’d like to ask you
1) have you heard about cases like mine (i know other guys who have about the same) and do you know what hapened after the fake’s manipulation? Are my nerve endings damaged? Is it related to scars inside tissue at base of penis?
2) after all this time with a damage (even if i had had some progress), is it possible to recover?
3)How is it that my penis, which was ‘pointing to the sky’ before accident, falls on my belly when i’m lying on my back the very rare times i can ‘erect’, and how is it it directly falls when i stand up?
4) Do you know some tips that could help me? Do i have sill hope?

Sorry to have been long but it’s a very hard problem to deal with, and thank you for your answer.
Regards

ANSWER
Hello,
If you had a 100% solid erection during the act, the damage should be located around the roots of the corpora cavernosa and corpus spongiosum near the bulbourethral glands. If you had a weak erection, the damage should be just above the pubis.

It certainly sounds as if you tore your corpus spongiosum and the supporting ligaments at the base from the side. If the supporting ligaments are torn or misplaced, the torn corpus spongiosum in the area won’t be inflating properly – that is why your penis slightly bends to the side. It is probable that with a lot of manual stimulation and just before you ejaculate your penis will look healthier, but that doesn’t bear any significance as far as the specific condition goes.

These traumas are difficult to treat, since the ligaments and the spongy tissue have to heal properly. A recurrent trauma will make a complete mess out of it.

“1) have you heard about cases like mine (i know other guys who have about the same) and do you know what hapened after the fake’s manipulation? Are my nerve endings damaged? Is it related to scars inside tissue at base of penis?”

Yes, I’ve seen similar cases. It is actually a common trauma. I suspect the healer to have misplaced the certain ligaments at the base prior to their recovery. Basically, your penis mast have gotten completely disconnected and is now just hanging without any support.

“2) after all this time with a damage (even if i had had some progress), is it possible to recover?”

It’s certainly more difficult to recover in cases of recurrent traumas and ruptures.

“3)How is it that my penis, which was ‘pointing to the sky’ before accident, falls on my belly when i’m lying on my back the very rare times i can ‘erect’, and how is it it directly falls when i stand up?”

In this specific case, it should be difficult to sustain the erections in an upright position through the lack of support provided by the ligaments at the side.

“4) Do you know some tips that could help me? Do i have sill hope?”

A burning sensation that will later transform to itching will be experienced – a sign of the healing process taking place.

Also, SR-Cream may be applied on the base of the penis to additionally address the issue as well as possible. Any mild hematomas or collagen scar tissue will be dissolved.

You will also benefit from hot wraps and baths.

Glad if I could help!

UPDATE
Hello Dr Richards,
1) 1st i thank you to have clearly answered, as what you are telling me is EXACTLY what i feel. No specialist managed to give a diagnose!! But once again, the thing you tell me is exactly what i thought (as i’ve learnt a lot about penile area during all this period). It’s a good start to know what the problem is after all this time.
I precise you my erection was quite hard during the act which hapened 3 years ago.

2) I have a question directly linked: why no exam (eccho doppler, palpation, etc) didnt show it? Can MRI show this area? Or do you know any exam to show it.

3) i quote you: ‘It sounds as you tore your corpus spongiosum and the supporting ligaments in the base from the side. The supporting ligaments are torn or misplaced, and the torn corpus spongiosum in the area is not inflating properly, that is why your penis slightly bends to the side. It is probable that with a lot of manual stimulation and just before you ejaculate your penis will look healthier, but that doesn’t mean anything.’

>>>> that’s EXACTLY that, and when i stimulate manually, i can become hard, but if i stop, hardness directly falls.

My 2nd trauma is not really a ‘trauma’, it’s more bad manipulation from this fake ‘healer’. He stretched this left base, and the anatomy changed again, it became bigger, softer but even worsened impotence.

4) So in fact, i will have to stay like that all my life? Coz your diagnose is right, and there re had bad manipulations on it+ it’s so long i have it…. No way to heal?

It’s strange that is common trauma as no specialist were able to tell me that.

Also, the term ‘disconected’ is EXACTLY what i feel too.

5) i quote you: ‘In cases of recurrent traumas and a complete rupture gets more difficult to recover completely’. >>>> when you say ‘more dificult’, does it meaan ‘impossible’, honestly? or possible but longer? How to know if the rupture is complete or partial?

6) As you seem really competent for diagnose, and i’m about 100% sure you well pointed what my problem is (and knowing the worsenings after fake’s manipulation and even after an osteopatic manipulation that i had not precised in 1st mail), do you sincerly -really sincerly- think i can recover over the time? I dont want to have a penile implant so young, and i dont want to live my life like that, so if i cant heal i prefer knowing it now than taking so many suplements for nothing… Please tell me honestly what you think. I have heard gotu kola or serapeptase can help for healing internal tissues. Fish oil is helpful too, as you suggest. I know boirage oil is good for elasticity of tissues.

My goal -if possible- is really to heal and not only ‘buying things’ which wont help as i’m in a bad financial situation too. I will only buy what really helps, if it’s possible.

7)To conclude, so the lack of sensitivity is also due to that yes? So, as for you, is there fibrosis at area of bad scarring or not? (as i feel one side -the damaged one- is shorter than the other one). And are the torn ligaments are possible to ‘reput right’ manually? To finish, do you think suspensory ligament itself is touched or not this one?

Anyway, i thank you for your quick and precise answer. Sorry to have been long.
Best regards

ANSWER
These traumas do not usually require imaging. If done properly, a physical examination may reveal a gap between the base of the shaft and the pubis, and no further tests will be required. However, the damage may not seem “real” enough for many doctors to even perform proper physical examination. Ultrasonography may be performed to reveal additional hematomas, and show the exact damage.

Usually, the damage is combined with a small internal hematoma, scar tissue release, and nerve damage (through the compression and the scar tissue), as well as blood flow issues, so the suspensory ligament never heals properly. My advice remains the same, I’ve seen my fair share of similar to almost exact conditions improve dramatically though this non invasive cycle. However, there is an invasive method to fix the ligament condition. A suture of the ligament through the suprapubic access can be done, the ligament will then be reinforced or repaired if possible.

Note that many patients through the years have undergone the procedure, yet again, many of them did not experience any erection or sensitivity improvement without addressing the scar tissue formation, nervous compression, and the blood flow issues at the base (and not only).

I’m glad if I could help!

UPDATE
Thank you for this answer but I’m getting kind of confused reading about it. Can you tell me the difference between the supporting ligaments you mentioned and the suspensory ligament?

Most of doctors told me suspensory ligament was not involved in erection, only in maintenance but not in acheving it. Also, they told me there was no link with lack of sensations/ coldness of penis.

So, coldness would come from nerve which are “trapped” in scar tissue at base? I have always thought that, despite i’m not doctor, but i tried to munderstand my body as i suffer too much with that condition.

But you insisted on the fact this condition was hard to treat (moreover with the different worsenings i had then) and finally at the end it didnt seem to be so ‘hard to heal’ in your last sentence, so i didnt really know if you thought that it’s impossible to heal and you didnt want to tell me that directly not to make me in despair, or if it was really possible.

Would you say that if in a 1st time i can manage to reverse scar tissue at base, there is a way ligament (and corpus spongium) heal after?

Is there a way, as for now, to quickly fix coldness inside penis (i feel it in the glans) and give sensations back (horrible since the ‘healer’ fake’s manipulation). And by what way the fact this person pressed (but not TOO strongly) on my left base could change anatomy of my flaccid penis, and worsened impotence so severly??

To conclude , do you know if such a trauma can have consequences inside perineum or it has nothing to do together?

Best Regards

ANSWER
“Thank you for this answer but I’m getting kind of confused reading about it. Can you tell me the difference between the supporting ligaments you mentioned and the suspensory ligament?”

The suspensory ligament is comprised of two components. One will be the
connection to the midline of the pubic symphysis and the other will play role in penile side stability.

“Most of doctors told me suspensory ligament was not involved in erection, only in maintenance but not in acheving it. Also, they told me there was no link with lack of sensations/ coldness of penis.
So, coldness would come from nerve which are “trapped” in scar tissue at base? I have always thought that, despite i’m not doctor, but i tried to munderstand my body’ as i suffer too much with that condition.”

Yes, it is just a ligament, so it won’t play any direct role as far as the erection process goes. However, what are many of the doctors missing here is that if you injure ones supporting ligament, you will alter the nerve and valves angle at which they used to work, thus altering the whole internal functioning (bloodflow and nervous). Moreover, such traumas will lead to collagen scar tissue release from the tissue, which in turn will cause numerous ill chain reactions and lead to form of erectile dysfunction.

“But you insisted on the fact this condition was hard to treat (moreover with the different worsenings i had then) and finally at the end it didnt seem to be so ‘hard to heal’ in your last sentence, so i didnt really know if you thought that it’s impossible to heal and you didnt want to tell me that directly not to make me in despair, or if it was really possible.”

“Would you say that if in a 1st time i can manage to reverse scar tissue at base, there is a way ligament (and corpus spongium) heal after?”

It is not that easy to treat such traumas in a time manner the patients usually expect (one week to a month), but is very treatable. Also, the ligament may heal a little shorter than before, which will lead to a loss of flaccid length.

“Is there a way, as for now, to quickly fix coldness inside penis (i feel it in the glans) and give sensations back (horrible since the ‘healer’ fake’s manipulation). And by what way the fact this person pressed (but not TOO strongly) on my left base could change anatomy of my flaccid penis, and worsened impotence so severly??”

SR-Cream will better the condition locally. However, the internal biochemistry had to be addressed as well.

“To conclude , do you know if such a trauma can have consequences inside perineum or it has nothing to do together?”

Sometimes penile traumas lead to disorders and hematomas in the perineum area, which still baffles numerous specialists.

I sincerely apologize for the late reply!

Wish you a fast recovery!

I am writing to you in regards to the article posted on this web site about a condition that seems to be called hard flaccid. I seem to suffer from such condition for about 6 months now. This whole time i have been frantically searching for an answer from doctors and online resources to no avail. When i came across your article I was amazed that there is a doctor who not only does not discount the symptoms, but also offers some concrete answers as to their cause and possible solutions.

I believe that my injury took place as a result of doing some penis exercises with the goal of increasing the size of my penis. At the time I was in a troubled relationship and thought that this might help. It did not, nor did i need a bigger penis. I did notice this hard flaccid and stopped the exercises immediately. However my penis did not heal itself. My penis is hard even in flaccid state. It is not like that all the time, but quite often. Sometimes this will cause some slight discomfort, but most of the time i do not really feel much. It seems to be the worst when i get in the shower and when something is touching it. Sometimes when i just touch it with my fingers to see if it is hard or not, i can feel it getting hard, while remaining flaccid.

ANSWER
The plague tissue is responding to the touch in an attempt to keep its inter-connections together, that’s why it becomes hard. You should massage it very gently, picturing in your mind its dissolution.

Do not do Kegels, they will overstimulate your prostate and you will consequently suffer a chronic premature ejaculation.

You should never physically stimulate yourself for an erection, this alone may ruin your recovery. The erection has to be mentally induced or spontaneous, otherwise you will feed your old neuroplasticity for additional inflammatory hormones.

The lack of spontaneous erections through the day is indicative of lowered androgens. You get spontaneous erections through the night because your organism is at rest and can redirect them (androgen hormones) to any place needed. Lack of nocturnal erections is usually indicative of locked hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis.

I must say I went ahead and ordered your SR-Cream even without any recommendation and it’s doing it’s thing. I’ve been applying it for 3 weeks not and at first it made it feel kind of warm and less rigid when flaccid. Now after some weeks I don’t feel it warm anymore but the firmness decreased at least 65 to 70% and the sensitivity is way better too. I must say I’m kind of excited of this change and plan on getting other supplements. Could you please recommend any to increase my libido since I think it’s off.
and once more thank you so much!

I’m almost 19 years old and began masturbating A LOT around the age of 13, when I was just beginning puberty. I would just grip the base of the penis and try to cum as fast as possible for several years. I now have all the symptoms of sexual exhaustion and many other problems, including the hard flaccid. I was wondering if masturbating like this or getting the notorious “hard flaccid” could change the shape of my penis. It seems streched out- the base is the skinniest, the mid-shaft is the largest, and the glans is pretty underdeveloped. I remember always obsessing about making my dick long when I was younger, and low and behold, it’s now about 8 inches when erect, but is very skinny (about 4.5 inches at the skinniest part and 4.8 at the thickest in circumference). I also was drinking and smoking pot quite a bit from ages 15-18. Although it still gets really skinny with the hard flaccid, my penis seems to become even less proportionally long when erect- it grows a lot in length but barely in girth. I can tell this has been a huge turnoff to all the women I’ve been with lately- they’re scared of the length but unsatisfied by the girth. From what I hear, girth is all that matters (unless your realy short), and extra length doesn’t do you much good. Is there any way to reshape the penis? I don’t necessarily need to grow it, there’s plenty of volume in there, I would just like to change its shape, making it shorter and thicker. Also, please let me know if you’ve ever heard of anything like this before, from what I’ve researched this seems like a pretty unusual case.

Thank you so much for your time and support. Coping with everything that comes with sexual exhaustion is extremely difficult, but this has been particularly crushing my confidence and self-esteem.

ANSWER
It is not uncommon for one, through ill practices, to alter numerous gene expressions, suppress (or on the contrary) certain growth factors and alter the otherwise natural results of the default acting expression code.

You may want to take a look at an article I’ve written on this subject.

As for the certain situation, there is usually a fine way to safely induce natural controlled penile growth, emulating certain processes that take place during the years of development.

Through natural increase in both prostaglandin E1 E3 and E2, as well as heightened levels of Nitric Oxide, androgens, slightly heightened DHT levels, and certain enlarging practices, one will be able to achieve a safe penile enlargement.

One should be cautious, though. Common jelqing practices are extremely dangerous, and will either work for the ones with naturally heightened levels of the stated above, or will damage ones penis through the induced inflammation – to end up with abnormal inflammatory response, collagen scar release, and erectile dysfunction.

The following regime will induce safe penile tissue growth. Notable improvements are to be expected in 3 to 6 months or possibly even longer.

SR-Cream will locally supply, heighten, keep, and restore elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3, and Nitric Oxide levels, responsible for penile tissue health, growth, and integrity. Thus, almost fully negating the possibility of a collagen scar tissue release or any severe damage.

Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-AGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will better nervous and endocrine functioning, keep proper neurotransmitter acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine, and GABA ratio and levels, modulate proper inflammatory response (it is crucial to avoid collagen tissue release if you decide to use the light jelqing practice), keep the proper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular functioning, slightly increase androgens, and increase prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide levels.

Also, testicle cooling will prove to be effective in additionally increasing androgens.

For faster and better controlled result (girth) you may want to emulate extremely light jelqing during spontaneous or naturally induced erections. Basically, you will need use a hot wrap for about 1 to 5 minutes, then achieve erection naturally (by thought alone, not by touch) and very, very gently with an OK grip, emulate jelq movements (without any pressure) while 100% erect. Doing this for about 5 to 10 minutes will expand your penis to 110%-120% of its natural capabilities, to the point of feeling it a little numb – then use a hot wrap and SR-Cream again for 1 to 5 minutes. The process will naturally and safely stretch the tissues if sufficient neurochemicals are present to support the growth. SR-Cream should be used both before the warm up and immediately after the practice.

Note that the even without doing any light jelqing you will experience penile tissue growth and enlargement through the nocturnal and spontaneous erections (note that this is the safest choice). The average rate would be about 0.4-0.6 inches in length, and 0.8-1 inches in girth per year without the method, and 0.5 to 1.0 inches in length, and 1.2 to 1.6 in girth per year with the method.

Hi Dr. Richards, Your my last hope. I’m going crazy, I’m not happy at all. Ive become insecure with myself, and its affecting every aspect of my life. I’ve also noticed that im more afraid, like of little things and things that happen around me. Its not normal, I’ve never been a person that’s frighten of things easily. My life has turned into a living hell. I’m sorry this may be a long mail but I’d feel more comfortable with your answer if I told you all the details as best I could as you will not be psychically examining me.

I have been masturbating since about 12-13 years old. It was very little in the beginning but as time past it also began to increase. From once every so often in the beginning to about 4 times a day sometimes in the later ages 18-20. I think it increased cause i was sexually frustrated. I have had sex every so often but it has never been a regular thing for me even though i feel i am very sexually hungry. My morals have never let me be with somebody just for sex, and I’ve never been able to get away from this. I’ve never had problems getting an erection or maintaining an erection for any reason before my problem took place. I could get an erection instantly (a minute or 2) after i have ejaculated and could get an erection as many times as i had energy left in me. When i was about 20-21 i started to feel some pain in my left Spermatic cord while ejaculating. Saw the doctors and at a point they told me it was swollen and gave me some tablets (cant remember the name), It passed but was back every so often.

So.. I’m away at university and live alone, very stressed cause I’m away from the miss and because of my studies. I masturbate to relief myself from sexual urges and also cause I’m so stressed because of university and it gave me a sense of relief from stress it self. I would like to give you a little history on how i was feeling before i suffered from the issue that caused me erectile dysfunction.

Some days i masturbated about 3-4 times a day. At a point i started to feel really tired, had problems sleeping (even though I’ve always had problems sleeping), not enough sleep, lack of concentration, couldn’t study for university, always too tired to even get up, felt like lying down all the time, started to be forgetful (before this my memory was very strong, would never forget anything no matter how little of importance it had). I had neck pains and lower back pains as well. My vision has got bad as well i wear glasses now’ cant see far. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the issue but i thought ill mention it in case it might. Had problems talking to people and making friends, found it hard to express myself to people when i was talking to them. (I’ve never had problems making friend before ever, i feel like I’ve always been a person that has been liked) I started to even have problems talking, i wouldn’t be able to say words i could say easily before, sometimes stuttering.

One night I’m really frustrated from no sexual activity and university stress cause I’m not able to get work done because of some of the causes above. I don’t want to masturbate cause i felt that me masturbating so much may be the cause of all the problems i suffered from. But ended up not being able to prevent myself… I got angry with myself and ended up trying to finish off as fast as possible and i was a bit rude too. Then i laid down on my front (face down) (after ejaculation) to watch a film to get my mind off of stress and sexlessness.

Then Suddenly i felt a sharp pinching type of a pain just above the penile gland in the middle ( where the glans just starts). I instantly got up and un-down my jeans and looked at it… In the spot where the pain was what looked like a clot in the vein and formed a spider web like vein around it. That actual vein wasn’t there before the pain. From then i massaged the area a lot but it still hurt every now and then that very night. I tried to urinate but it stung. It began to look dead (it just hung down)and felt cold and numb. I rubbed it and massaged it as often as possible but with the fright of doing more damage. After a day or so I felt pains on the side of my penis too (left side, towards the middle and leading to the bottom of the shaft). I was really worried and i felt like i should check if it is still working and i masturbated. I guess that was a bad idea too and the pains got worse. I left it alone from then on for about a week. But i had problems sleeping cause of the pain, i sleep face down (cant sleep any other way) and the pain in the penis caused me to wake a lot in the night.

From then on I stopped getting morning wood and had to some what psychically make myself get an erection rather than it happening automatically when i was sexually aroused. I started to ejaculate in like 30 seconds ( premature ejaculation began as well)Where I was able to last at least 20 minutes before.

Ive been seeing a Urologist at my local hospital for over 1.5 years. They have done Ultrasound scans, and i was told that there wasn’t any sufficient damage (i guessed that meant there wasn’t any damage that could have caused erectile dysfunction) so i left it at that. But i was still not getting erections and was suffering from pain. I had some testosterone count test and it was found that my testosterone was a little low but it wasn’t a big issue and i just needed go to the gym a bit. There was no problems with my blood test as well.

They gave me some cialis to take, I’m taking 2.5mg daily (half a 5mg tablet). I am able to get erections with as little as that. But its still hard to get a full erection while standing. Ive noticed that my penis size has become smaller when erected and bigger while at flaccid state. It also gets hard while in the flaccid state and becomes painful. I’ve also noticed that my corpus spongiosum (urethra) out line isnt visible when erected anymore, it practically disappears from like 2 inch from the base upwards. I urinate about 30 degrees to the left rather than straight like i use to. I find it hard to push urine out and always feel that there is more… which i cant get out. And Finally i have a lot of spider veins that have formed on my penis that were not there before (large and small). The doctor didn’t notice any scar forming and i haven’t too so far. But it does then bend downwards when trying to get an erection and bends towards the right from halfway of the penis every 4 months or so of which i massage back to making it straight. The skin on my penis has also seemed to thin.

Please help… I’m in hell. My circumstance is really affecting my life and my relationship as well i don’t want my relationship to deteriorate cause of this..Its already effected it so much already..I love the person im with and we were thinking of marriage before this problem occurred but now.. it just seems like its something she doesn’t want to talk about anymore.. Please don’t be a scam … Sorry if i offended you. But there are a lot of lying people on the internet just to sell their products and give false hope. Your my last hope PLEASE HELP. I want to be normal again… I want to be confident and not worry none stop about the one i love of leaving me because of my problem . PLEASE HELP ME. :*[

ANSWER
Hello,
Physical and psychological health are interrelated. The ill over masturbation practices burned vital neurochemicals faster than the body can restore. The symptoms experienced: tiredness, insomnia, lack of concentration, memory problems, and neck and back pains are indicative of abnormal serotonin, acetylcholine, dopamine, and GABA levels for improper functioning and depression. The body pains as well as spermatic cord inflammation are a direct result of excessive inflammatory response for increased local prostaglandin E2, cortisol, and even epinephrine.

Once in a state of similar imbalance, ones penis becomes easily injurable through the abnormal local levels of elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3, Nitrix Oxide, and androgens to modulate penile tissue health. Inflammatory response and collagen tissue release would be induced by masturbation alone. An excessive tissue inflammation may also severely inflame and damage veins in the area, impairing their proper functioning and worsening the condition. As in the specific case, the veins will become prominent and varicosed. The inflammation usually damages tunica albuginea or/and corpus spongiosum so the penis will rely solely on the two corpora cavernosa for erectile functioning preservation.

Such traumas should heal over time if properly addressed. Much blood flow to the area is essential for healing. There are several agents that will better sexual functions and are responsible for penile tissue health and integrity. A combination of Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-AGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will promote heightened androgen levels and elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide for healing. In the specific case, one should also stabilize serotonin-GABA nervous modulation on inflammatory response with 5HTP-Nettle and GRB6-GABA.

SR-Cream should be locally applied to additionally address the issue as well as possible. Any internal mild hematomas or collagen scar tissue will be dissolved.

Also, testicular cooling solutions (uBreeze) for additionally increased androgens are to be considered.

Also, beneficial will prove to be: light to moderate exercise, massages, penile hot wraps, positive attitude, negative ion exposure, and proper diet.

Glad if I could help!

Dr. Richards,

I am 28. I have been masturbating since I hit puberty, often several times a day. Over the past couple of years, I began the practice of edging while masturbating, often stroking my penis while looking at porn for several hours at a time. At first the result was extremely powerful and pleasurable orgasms with massive ejaculations with very high velocity. I believe that I subsequently got addicted to porn and this sort of masturbation, because rarely do I masturbate otherwise anymore.

I noticed several changes a few months ago with regard to my erection and ejaculation. First I started to pay attention to the fact that my ejaculations, while forceful and voluminous, appeared to be mostly water. There did not appear to be any clumpy, gooey white stuff. Also, my erections began to get weaker and weaker to the point where I was basically jerking on my flaccid member, trying to get off. I realized that I might have been doing myself harm, so I stopped ejaculating for about a week, still occasionally stroking my half-hard penis. When I finally did decide to have an orgasm again, it happened without my penis getting hard, and it was a very quick, weak orgasm that seemed to consist of mostly fluid, very little white goo. I also noticed at that time that there were some veins near the base of my penis that appeared very hard, my penis was tender all over, it began to remain in a perpetual tough/hard state even when flaccid, and there were physical changes to my penis. I made an appointment with a urologist who ordered an ultrasound on my penis. The ultrasound tech found small calcium deposits in my penis. The urologist has since referred me to a specialist because he told me he does not know how to treat the calcium deposits where they are, between the corpora. He said this is not Peyronie’s.

I am worried that my chronic masturbation has led me to have less turgid erections, some premature ejaculation issues, very watery sperm and I’m scared that some sort of scar tissue or calcium deposits are now in my penis and will change the shape and size of my penis. Do you have any thoughts? What should I do before my visit with the specialist? What do I need to tell him? I honestly do not know if I will be able to describe my jerk off practices as candidly with him as I can here for fear of embarrassment. Any recommendations?

ANSWER
Hello,

Through the harmful edging and increased masturbation time you’ve depleted your organisms vital neurochemicals needed to support not only proper sexual but endocrine and nervous functioning as well.

The watery ejaculation is both a result of an overactive and inflamed prostate (through the locally increased excitatory and inflammatory prostaglandin E2) for increased prostatic fluid production (mainly during the increased masturbation and arousal time practices), and improper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular functioning for less androgens and abnormal testicular functioning.

It is usually very easy to damage ones penis through the improper levels and ratio of locally present elasticity prostaglandin E1 to E2, diminished Nitric Oxide, and improper androgens levels, since they are responsible for penile tissue health and integrity.

About 20% of the people with Peyronie’s Disease will suffer an eventual deposit calcification.

About a 100 reps and since then I have had a hard flaccid penis, less feeling, and just a very firm penis over all. It’s been months I have been giving myself days in between to heal but no more than 5 days I have been masterbating every other day and had sex like 3 times since due to no pain. The problem now is the firm flaccid and very hard erection and at times feeling of uncomfort.. not pain wen I do have sex or masterbate..my penis also stays full for a little wen I do ejaculate. My penis is a little shorter about 1/2 inch? but it’s been month so it’s gotten better I guess.. I don’t get insomnia anymore and I do get morning wood when I don’t masterbate but my morning wood is very firm. Erection very firm, flaccid firm but has gotten a little softer in the flaccid stage…I don’t know where I go from here? I don’t know if it’s scar tissue. I’m a boxer and run a lot or throughout the day it softens up. Should this heal on it’s own or should I take affect now like sr cream or stop masterbating just want to heal this problem?? Please let me know doctor

ANSWER
Hello,

Yes, the symptoms described are indicative of penile tissue damage as well as collagen scar tissue formation.
Usually, the damage is a combined with a small internal hematoma, scar tissue release, and nerve damage (through the compression and the scar tissue), as well as blood flow issues.

The shortening present is usually a result of a internal collagen scar tissue formation (centrally located) for improper corpus spongiosum functioning. By not inflating properly, instead of causing a typical side bending, will affect the overall length and girth of the penis. However, a downward bend is usually present.

Since you haven’t experienced any alterations in the sexual drive or morning erection pattern, which is indicative of a proper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular functioning, I would conclude that you should experience faster recovery.

However, one may significantly boost the recovery time if the problem is properly addressed. Much bloodflow to the area is essential for the healing. There are several agents that will better sexual functions and are responsible for penile tissue health and integrity, as well as the healing properties. A combination of Multi-Alpha, Alpha-Amino, Alpha-AGH, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will promote heightened androgen hormones and elasticity prostaglandin E1 E3 and Nitric Oxide for healing.

SR-Cream should be applied locally to increase prostaglandin E1 and Nitric Oxide, fully re-sensitize the penis, promote blood flow to the area, and eventually dissolve the collagen scar tissue formation.

Also, testicular temperature regulatory solutions will prove to be effective in additionally increasing androgens.
You will also benefit from hot wraps and baths.

Glad if I could help!

Hi Doc,
I suffer from the hard flaccid state for months now, and have been keeping up with your website for a while now. First, thanks for all the help you’ve provided everyone.

For over a month now, I’ve been keeping ejaculation to roughly once a week. Have been taking a multi-vitamin and fish oil every morning and 100 mg 5-htp before bed every other night. Haven’t gotten around to ordering GABA yet. I’ve been trying to live a healthy lifestyle and eat clean.

What happens now is if I abstain and do everything right for 4-5 days things return to 100% normal. Hard flaccid disappears on day 5 as if nothing happened, testicles loosen up. Sometimes the hard flaccid will return randomly even when I am abstaining, and I believe it’s caused either by certain inflammatory foods I eat, or by workouts that tighten the pelvic muscles, but I can’t know which it is for a fact.

I try not to drink alcohol. I smoke good quality weed a few times a week. What happens is pretty interesting. Minutes after I smoke the weed, my testicles right away loosen up to the max. They hang even more then they used to before I had problems. It’s almost weird, but not in a bad way. Libido goes up a bit. (All this only happens in the hard flaccid, constricted state. In a normal state everything is unaffected). And hard flaccid is usually unaffected when I’m high. But what happens is when I’m high I can consciously relax my pelvic floor muscles, which feel constricted. When the high wears off, It becomes almost impossible to keep the pelvic muscles as relaxed, and things pretty much become constricted again and return to the hard flaccid state.

I had sex while i was high recently and I had no problems with erection and lasted like 45 minutes, which is great.
So my question, do you know how to possibly explain that my testicles go from beng constricted to fully lose within minutes after smoking weed??

It’s like a temporary alpha-blocker for me. I ruled out the theory that i’s caused by a raise in dopamine/serotonin because I know it doesn’t raise them within minutes. Correct?

So I believe it just blocks the extra norepinephrine + all other inflammatory processes instantly. What do you think?
I don’t expect you to have answers for this, I’m already happy that I’m slowly recovering, but it would help if you do.
Sometimes after the high wears off, everything down there stays relaxed for days, other days it goes back to what it was, if not worse.

Do you think I should continue smoking it??

I understand I have a classic case of the inflammation an raised prostaglandin e2 that you keep talking about. Since everything normalizes after 4-5 days of abstaining, I take that as a good sign. Hopefully those 4 days wll turn into 4 hours soon.

Other then that, do you recommend I take GABA? and do you think it’s necessary for me to take HGH? since my case is not severe, I’m not sure I’ll benefit from it.

Thank you so much!!

ANSWER
Hello,

The marijuanas chemicals mimic the action of numerous neurotransmitters by taking over the empty nervous terminals and synapses. That is why, dependent on individual gene expressions and neurotransmitter levels, may cause numerous symptoms (from what you describe, to severe psychological and physiological disorders).

Naturally, I strongly suggest you discontinue marijuana usage.

I cannot speak English very well, so I apologize for that and hopefully you will understand me.
About 4 years ago I suffered from depression and phobia, so I took Fevarin (Fluvoxamine) for about a year and a half. Since I’ve stopped using it(I stopped exactly like doctor told me to), I also stopped getting morning erections. I didn’t pay attention to it, because I was 15 at that time and had no idea that it was wrong. I had no problem getting erections, and I masturbated every day. Is there a way to reverse this and be able to have spontaneous morning erections again ? Also, about 2 years ago, I started to get hard flaccid from time to time and I am experiencing this problem since. However I never done any kind of penile exercises. What can I do to fix this ?
Thank You.

ANSWER
Hello,
You may take a look at this article if haven’t already.

Much could have gone wrong. However, the SSRIs action on the nervous and endocrine systems (especially hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis functioning) altered the brains neuroplasticity and chronically affected proper dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversions, serotonian action and oxytocin release. The firm flaccid, experienced without any physical damage, is usually indicative of low androgens and insufficiency/imbalance of neurochemicals to power proper sexual functioning.

“What can I do to fix this ?”

There are several issues that have to be addressed at once for satisfactory results and to avoid any negative feedback reactions.

You must restore proper hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-testicular axis functioning, restore proper balance of serotonin, dopamine, acetylcholine, and GABA levels in the brain. You should also power dopaminergic functioning and restore proper dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversions, while experiencing sufficient GABA and Serotonin neurotransmitter levels in the brain to avoid the anxiety that made you take antidepressants in the first place. Also, you should restore proper liver functioning and its P450 system. A combination of Alpha-Amino, Alpha-AGH, GRB6-GABA, Zeolite-DA, and Ultra-Purified-FishOil will properly address the issues.

Also, beneficial will prove to be: regular exercise, proper diet, negative ion exposure, massages, and positive attitude.
Glad if I could help!

When with my girlfriend i can get hard however i took out my penis for her to suck it and i noticed where was like cum or something dripping out of it, and I’ve noticed it more now, and she did.

It’s been happening a lot now, will i ever get back to normal, has anyone cured them self form this. My urologist only felt it with her hands and that’s it. Told me i had mental issues. And send me to get Cialis which i cannot afford as i am 20 and in full time education. My penis is also has hard patched, i tried to explain it to my urologist but she didn’t notice.

Is it curable?
What happened
Has anyone cured them selves from this
How long will it take if so..

Thanks

ANSWER
Yes, you injured your penis. The precum is usually a result of abnormal parasympathetic and local penile tissue functioning.

“Is it curable?”

Yes, it is.

“What happened?”

Mechanical penile damage will induce hardening and a collagen scaring of the erectile tissues (by the uncontrolled release of prostaglandin E-2) if you expand them beyond the elastic properties of your tunica albuginea. A collagen tissue scar will be formed, usually preventing tunica albuginea and corpus spongiosum from expanding and sealing off the penis properly – a constant stimulation is then usually needed. Also, the erection quality itself may prove to be unsatisfactory.

“Has anyone cured them selves from this?”

Yes.

“How long will it take if so?”

It differs, however, if properly addressed, usually takes up to 6-9 months for a full recovery.
